FC United Of Manchester
A club that was created by anti-Glazer Manchester United supporters to bring others like them together. Ben (shokz) with his definition:

shokz said:
The formation of FCUM was not only just about the takeover, overpriced football, overpaid footballers, sky-Carlos*ing fixtures, but it was also about keeping the disenchanted Manchester United supporters together, why should they split up and follow the likes of Altrincham, Sale, Droylsden or Bury when there is nothing in common with these clubs, nothing UNITED about them. FCUM keeps the United spirit going for the supporters and those who do go too Gigg Lane have loads in common, the atmospheare is amazing at every match and the supporters ultimately get a say in how the club is run - how many fans/clubs can say that?

Give the site a try. Buy their jerseys instead of MUFC's. The money goes to the club and not to American bastards.

special thanks to shokz

So what keeper are we gonna sign? Kameni? Casillas?

I doubt Casillas will join us but would be nice innit. I rate Kameni from what i have seen, he was especially awesome against Barcelona and has great flexibility.

They probably werent up to scratch for Fergies liking, then again we have a lot of players the same who should also leave. Im suprised at Nardiello and Tierney, i thought they had a slight chance of getting into the first team.

Damn it, the more i hear i about the glazer the more i hate the wazzock! :f***:

I dont wanna have to change my name to MUSC_DADDY!

I hope he doesnt changed anything and is one of those silent partner kind of people who say nothing and just watch the money roll in. If things stayed the same (ie money to spend, keep players, fergie, stadium name, etc) i would be more satsfied than having to put up with yank ****e like "nike arena" etc.

I'm still completely against him at "our" club but it looks like we r gonna av to lump it, so if things stay relatively the same and we have money to spend then i will keep my gob shut.

Maybe this thread opened a bit early? Start of season, or end of transfer market should have been start? O well, Kameni 4 mil release clause is all im saying, dumb if we don't get him.

Keeper Carroll Released By Reds

Roy Carroll has been given a free transfer by Manchester United. The goalkeeper's four-year stint at Old Trafford will cease at the end of next month.

Media reports had suggested the Northern Ireland goalkeeper would sign a new contract with the Reds this week, but today he is confirmed as one of eight players who are being released by United. Another is fellow shot-stopper Ricardo.

Carroll signed for United in July 2001 from Wigan Athletic, initially as second choice behind Fabien Barthez.

Tim Howard was drafted in two summers ago and immediately laid claim to the number one spot at Old Trafford. However, Carroll and the American have both taken turns as Ferguson's first choice during 2004/05.

The decision to let Carroll and Ricardo go leaves Howard as United's only senior goalkeeper, and means Sir Alex is likely to add to his squad in the goalkeeping department over the summer.

Six young professionals - Ramon Calliste, Ben Collett, Daniel Nardiello, David Poole, Lee Lawrence and Paul Tierney - have also been released.

Report by Ben Hibbs.
