Right on the spot.pede54 said:Its not about better sponsors though is it.Vodafone have ended their sponsorship deal 2 years early. The message from that is crystal clear.Sponsors deserting United has never happened before ever, and to use the excuse that they would rather sponsor the CL is a little humiliating for the club.Sure ,another sponsor will be easy to find but thats not the point is it?
Help? said:Vodafone are pussies. Oh, a team might not make it to the next stage one year, lets drop them. Now i want us to win the CL more than ever, to stuff it up their face. They could have at least waited for the season to end to make it less obvious
He's a good player, but I'll be damned if he wears #16.Becks is God said:Hey do you guys rekon Tommy Gravesen will be playin for you in January, he wears #16 with us and now the #16 is available at Utd would you want him?
It could be good, if we get a better sponsor, but in no way is it gonna make a club rethink their on-field approach. Not gonna happen. And like pede said, they signed with us when we were running high and they left us right after the very first talk of trouble. They are scared of taking risks, if there is even any risk at all in sponsoring United, they made of us much more money in those 5 years, then they gave to us and leaving the club and a very good source of income at such a time is not cool. Sponsoring the CL is a lame excuse.Andrejs said:Meh, I don't think they're pussies, they actually dared to quit unlike Nike. Now you can call me whatever you want and as stupid as it may sound but this could be good for the club in the future. The club needs to wake up fast and it seems that radical changes won't come unless something really bad (like losing one of the biggest sponsors or failing to reach the next stage in CL) happens to the club. That doesn't mean I'd cheer for Benfica though.
