Its not about better sponsors though is it.Vodafone have ended their sponsorship deal 2 years early. The message from that is crystal clear.Sponsors deserting United has never happened before ever, and to use the excuse that they would rather sponsor the CL is a little humiliating for the club.Sure ,another sponsor will be easy to find but thats not the point is it?

Right on the spot.

Vodafone are pussies. Oh, a team might not make it to the next stage one year, lets drop them. Now i want us to win the CL more than ever, to stuff it up their face. They could have at least waited for the season to end to make it less obvious

Meh, I don't think they're pussies, they actually dared to quit unlike Nike. Now you can call me whatever you want and as stupid as it may sound but this could be good for the club in the future. The club needs to wake up fast and it seems that radical changes won't come unless something really bad (like losing one of the biggest sponsors or failing to reach the next stage in CL) happens to the club. That doesn't mean I'd cheer for Benfica though.

for all we know Vodafone might not want to sponsor us any more because we are going down hill in their eyes. We don't know what has happened. The club may of ended it, Vodafone may of ended, or both parties though it should be ended.

United and the Glazers are now looking for a sponsor which will get us more money although whether we can get them is another matter.

Well Vodafone reaped the benefits while United were riding high.At the first sign of a little wobble they run out on them.I know that sponsors are not in it to be loyal to any particular club but this stinks.I hope and expect United to get it together with a better sponsor than Vodafone anyway.I noticed a drop in the Man U share prices when the news came out. That wont make Malc very happy either, but i guess he would of expected that.Anyway at the end of the day there is the Club, the Squad and the fans.Anyone else is replacable................ :)

He's a good player, but I'll be damned if he wears #16.

At least our reserves is doing better, beat sh!tty 4-2 tonight, Rossi with a hat-trick. :rockman:

Utd top of table with 30 points after 12 games, 8 points clear of Boro. 7 consecutives win for Utd reserves. :)

Rossi just needs more first team experience to be a great player. Many young players flopped because of this and I hope it won't to him. He's magic.

It could be good, if we get a better sponsor, but in no way is it gonna make a club rethink their on-field approach. Not gonna happen. And like pede said, they signed with us when we were running high and they left us right after the very first talk of trouble. They are scared of taking risks, if there is even any risk at all in sponsoring United, they made of us much more money in those 5 years, then they gave to us and leaving the club and a very good source of income at such a time is not cool. Sponsoring the CL is a lame excuse.
