back to topic I think Man Utd and SAF should give Howard one more chance at a full season at Man UTD and get a nice backup Keeper.

Goos we got rid of carroll but i don't know why ricardo?
did we play with his future.
i mean he was HARDLy given any chance.
he seems to be a good keeper.
one chance withy cameos next season wouldn't have hurt anyone.

who next then?
steele from our academy or a big signing.
i think we should go for cudicini or niemi
i've also thought of anderson(charlton) the guy made great saves in 2 consecutive games

Haha Ricardo is garbage, I remember when he played against Leverkusen 2 seasons ago, the man gave away 2 penalties and blundered countlessly. He's jus as sh1t as Carrol.

I got to agree 100% Ricardo is not good enough for the top divisions!

Well I hope that we buy lots of players in the off season or i will be pissed off.

If we get a keeper, it should be a really really good one. Not someone like Niemi, Kiely, Kiraly who can have really awesome days but really **** off days. We need a really really really good one.

I think that having Heinze, Silvestre, Rio, Gary as our back four is good enough with a bench with Brown, Phil, and O'Shea. Maybe we could get one more defender but i think the purchase of Heinze was a really good one, and he is now one of my favourite players.

We should maybe look at buying a replacement for Roy Keane. There is that Mascherano guy from Argentina but those players usually go to Spain or Italy so it might not be reachable. I really wanted Robben and was really pissed off at how United treated him when we were so close to signing him. I was in Holland at the time and in the paper they had announced Robben as United's third signing from PSV (after Stam and Ruud) but to see him go to Chelsea made me really angry. I dont know how van der Vaart would go in England but i think we should have had a look at van Bommel, but he has gone to Barca now :( .

We do not need anymore forwards. Ruud, Rooney, Smith, Saha are good enough, and then there is Bellion who is good half the time and possibly Solskjaer when he comes back. I dont think we need another forward. Yes they had a **** season in terms of goals but they can only improve.

So simply buy a solid world class keeper and a world class midfielder. Dont see the point in buying average players for prices under 5m pounds. No point. That is what crappy midtable clubs should do.

Probably just made up stuff to sell newspapers though. Would be nice but we should get someone younger. And language troubles might be an issue

how old do you think Buffon is ? He is only 27 FYI.

anyway... i wanted to point that out thats all. Doesn't make a difference... United won't get him anyway... or any other club for that matter. He is untouchable at Juve.

NIGERIAN PLAYER ASSOCIATION GIVE LYN AND UNITED THEIR SUPPORT

The nigerian player association have decided to give their support to FC Lyn Oslo and Manchester United in the battle between Chelsea, John Obi Mikel and the two mentioned clubs.

President of the association (NANF), Harrison Jalla, have sent FC Lyn a mail where he informs that:

Thank you for the information. I have already forwarded it to the Nigerian Football Association, and the board have taken a positive decision in favour of Lyn / Manchester United and conveyed the same to FIFA for Mikel Obi to honour his subsisting contract with Lyn / Manchester United.

NANF have read the Mikel-documents and have concluded to give the two clubs their support. It's on the other side hard to know if the read documents are contracts and official documents or if it also includes a subjective letter by the norwegian club.

Seems like we'll never find a keeper like Schmeichel ever again :(
Never. Its very hard to find a keeper even close to Peter.

Who will Fergie buy then? Frey? Hildebrand? Casillas?
