Whats the big deal with Rossi anyway , I don't think hes that good to be replacing saha and bellion.
I think the treble is a once in a lifetime thing , even Chelsea with their resources have not managed it.

hey houston there is a feature about United in Next Magazine "Yut Zhou Hon" but it's only 1 -2 pages. Not worth buying. They also took pictures of the dressing room, the megastore and the restaurant though. Trying to sell the stadium tour, one that I was lucky enough to have gone myself.

there are pictures about the training and the press conferences and all that. Keano was there with Phil, Smith and O'Shea.

The reporter also said Keano did all the talking and was clearly the captain.

I seldom read magazines.
Was that function actually some kind of promotion/propaganda of SmarTone-Vodafone? Only Hong Kong reporters were there to ask them questions?

Cool, when did u go to the tour? how was that? did u meet any players there? i think i will go to OT one day, thats known as "Chiu Sing" (i dont know the English word) like the Muslims have to go to Mekka once in their life.

Btw, i think if we buy Figo, the best thing is that he can help Ronaldo to be a good winger. Ronaldo plays quite well in Portual NT, perhaps Figo has done something to help and teach him.

I see the Sunday papers are trying to make out United will sell Ronaldo to Madrid for £15M or in exchange for Figo. Also may I add they believe the player is unsettled at United, something I don't believe through seeing numerous training sessions on MUTV this year or from hearing the player himself. I hope Ronaldo stays with United for as long as possible.

Talking about ins and outs, here's what I would do for our squad next year.

1: Let Roy Carroll go, if he was that committed he'd have signed by now.
2: Send Darren Fletcher out on loan, he needs to toughen up for United.
3: Bring in Jussi Jaasquelainen - a keeper I rate very highly.
4: Move Kleberson back to defensive Midfield - he is not an Attacker!
5: Bring in Michael Essien
6: Bring in Stuart Downing (excellent replacement for Giggs in future)
7: Bump Guiseppe Rossi up to first team.
8: Change formation back to standard 4-4-2, with Rooney in "Cantona role" behind Van Nistelrooy.
9: Give Roy Keane a coaching role
10: Work out a way of keeping everyone fit, perhaps more fitness training pre season.


Overall our first 11 is as good as any in the world, although the squad could do with strengthening. Hopefully with no major tournaments this summer, the players will get adequate time to recoup. (Euro 2004 plus Olympics last summer meant that Ronaldo and Heinze didn't get back till September plus Rio was banned and Ruud and Rooney injured too) That is why we lost so much ground early on and we never recovered. Just look at the back four that went to Stamford bridge on opening day.

Fair enough Chelsea were more consistent and deserve the Title,but to suggest United were at full strength is innacurate, It will be closer next season. I hope!

Honestly, I'd stab a man in the neck with a butterknife for Saha, just cause.

I'd trade Henry, Bergkamp and a loan of Pires just for Saha on a 3 month loan deal. He's that damn good.

I'd trade Henry, Bergkamp and a loan of Pires just for Saha on a 3 month loan deal. He's that damn good.

Saha has been really unlucky with injuries since joining us, but his record in the Premiership with Fulham was worth taking note of, If he can replicate that for us he will turn out to be a great asset to the squad, though first choice must be Van Nistelrooy and Rooney. £10M was too much, but as soon as we are linked with a player we end up paying over the odds.

terry > brown (Terry yeah, but if Brown hadn't have had so many injuries when he was younger i think he could have been level)
