What a fcuking come back!! valencia what a goal! never know we may get another goal
*edit* ah well 3-3 was as good as a win, top of the table and we maintained our unbeaten streak in the champions league. A good statistic that should flutter a few nerves who ever we play.
Cracking game. Obertan looked pretty good again when he came on... I can see him winning a spot in the starting 11 in the not too distant future.

That was a brilliant comeback though, it's a shame they don't play with the same fire in the first place. I really liked Akinfeev, from what I saw of the highlights he made some brilliant saves, I would love us to get him in the Summer he looks quite a keeper.

btw Nani really wasn't that bad. I thought he played better today.
Nani got the assist for Owen's goal. Nani stretched and backheeled the ball through 1-2 defenders at one point that resulted in the goal. He also placed a 5 yard through ball to Macheda, which was pretty good.
He was pretty good at the start of the season too. Had a couple of 'bad' games and the press and co really hammer him. He's got bags of talent, I hope he gets more chances. Its just his decision making that screw things up, but that will come.
What also goes against him is that everyone compares him to Ronaldo and expect him to do as well. I think he just needs a run of games like Ronaldo did and how he got with us in his first season. Lucky for him Giggs wasn't at his best and park was injured a lot. Since then its been a lot of stop start, 15 minutes here and there. He clearly needs consistent games to get the best out of him.
He did good today better then Valencia if your asking me. Kept losing the ball, passing back, breaking the flow, even his goal was a huge deflection. Not that he played badly, he's improving all the time.

3-3 final score. We could have scored more though. Akinfeev had to pull some wonderful saves and we got 1 ball hitting the inside of the post. Overall we put more pressure than CSKA and yet another comeback from being down 3-1 thanks to our perseverance and determination not to give up until the 96th minute. That has been the key for United winning games in the past decade... Not to give up until the very last minute and scoring dramatic last minute goals.
CSKA`s 2nd and 3rd goals were due to some slack defending. In both instances the scorer was completely unmarked. For the 2nd, the defenders thought it was offside and stopped playing looking for offside. Goals which could be avoided really. Can`t say anything about the first CSKA goal. It was a brilliant shot.
I think Valencia played brilliantly working very hard for the ball and making some runs. Looks like he`s starting to click in the team. I am starting to love his style of play. Obertan also played well on the left. A massive improvement from the last game. He and Evra provided some energy to the team. Owen, Nani and Macheda all did well I think. Good thing about this game is that we got to rest some players for the game against Chelsea. Can`t wait for that game. Chelsea is doing great right now but I feel confident about this one.
EDIT: Btw that yellow card for Fletcher`s `dive` was a complete joke. There clearly was contact there. Could have been a penalty as well since the defender did not get the ball.

Cant believe how our strongest attribute in defence has been so piss poor. O well, fingers crossed, something may just click again. In fact I'm beginning to think it had nothing to do with our defenders but more to do with a legend of a goalkeeper we have been without.
A draw will be a fantastic result considering how things are at the moment. Offensively, we have not been looking all that dangerous. We have been winning but the performances have been average to be honest.
Rio is out for the game. So probably Evans and vidic at the heart of defence. Would like to see brown at RB for a change. He's better going forward.
