Rooney on the wing and giggs in the middle? Care to explain?

Well Not exactly like that. Its been done quite a bit recently, giggs being reinvented down the middle. Suspect this may play out like a European game hence why one striker up front and Rooney on the left.

But the reason I say not exactly like that is I suspect if it was played Giggs and rooney will be floating around filling in gaps and supporting.

Although I mainly picked that team because the squad list at the site is out of date and I had to squeeze the players in haha. Its quite the possibility though especially if we play one up front.

I guess it mostly boils down to where fergie plays Rooney and the rest will fit around that.

Luckily Vidic is back for tomorrow's game. A draw will be a good result for us, considering the form of both teams. But on the other hand, we perform better when we are in a underdog position. IMO Chelsea has been playing good, but they have also been hyped up, this is a team that got beaten by Wigan and Villa

Alright, makes sense. I could see that.

well, it was a close match and could go either ways till the last moment. But United players gave more than 100% and I proud to all of them. You need some luck in big matches as well. Anyway, let's hope United to bounce back and win it all.

I think we shouldn't have any big problem till half season break.

edit: all players really fought till the last second and that's something to proud of. Sometime, it's not all about the result.

valencia tackle on Lampard was the worst one, I'm not sure how he's alive.

He didn't touch him so hard. But the intension was ugly. That'swhy he was booked. The worst one was Evans' on Drogba. I really can't understand how he could get on the pitch again...

The goal was scored from an offside on Drogba...

btw, what's with those red circles on the English teams' shirts? I saw them in Ancelotti's chest and in City players' chest too...

im gutted...we were terrific. Played better than chelsea and that with a weakened team. Just didnt happen for us. We badly need a natural goalscorer though. A pure striker. Kind of miss the cutting edge in front of goal.

I feel like Chelsea have more hunger than us this season and it should be that way. We won the last 3 titles, if Chelsea won't be hungrier than us this season than when will they? But today the team wanted the win more than Chelsea. Having only rooney upfront hurt us a bit in attack, but at the same time having 3 midfielders helped out controlling the midfield for sure. On another day, we could have won 2-0 without problems. Im not that worried about losing this game, as long as the team wants to win the title, we'll be able to do it.

Not really mate. The poppy's are so we all remember ALL the dead from ALL sides that have died in ALL the wars.

It was initially introduced to remember the dead of World War 1, but as time has gone on, and we humans just cannot stop blowing each other to bits, it has come to remind everyone of ALL the dead in all of the conflicts. Not just military dead but civilian dead too of course.

The money raised from poppy sales goes to the Red Cross, so they can do their work both in England and around the World.

We should've bought a striker in the summer. David Villa, Eto'o or Aguero.

It is disappointing that we've already lost 3 times, but I can't say I'm surprised. I always figured things would be more difficult this season. We've had some injury problems already and we lost the best player in the world and get nothing in return.

However, we always seem to finish the season strong, so I still think it's going to go right down to the end between us and Chelsea.

You did buy a striker. Owen.

And I'm pretty sure that many of you said that with Berba, Owen, Rooney, Macheda and Welbeck, you wouldn't need another striker.

We didn't really buy Owen, he was a free transfer so it's not like we went out and decided to invest money and time into him.

I certainly never thought we'd be okay as is. I never expected much out of Owen and Berbs is hit and miss. Macheda and Welbeck are both still too young and inexperienced to be counted on.

If we would've thrown a ton of money at Valencia for Villa or cut some deal with Barca to get Eto'o we might be undefeated right now.

So it's okay for ManU to "throw a ton of money" at a team, but it's unfair when Madrid do it?

You have some work class strikers, stop your bitching.
