Douglas Costa i think its his signing too, he already liked that player when he was Barça coach. What is clear is that he demanded 2 wingers to not repeat what happened last season when he ended the season with robbery injured. And i know he asked Bayern to sign Weigl too but he was already signed by BvB.

Gotze is not shit, he was at great level when he injured this season.

I said he's clueless because I'm yet to figure what he is while his coaches and his overall play confirms that. He doesn't seem to excel in any particular significant role.

Any of those players you mentioned Arnau would have ended up at Bayern regardless of Pep or whoever maybe the manager with their input and assessment, obviously. Though, Douglas Costa and Thiago transfers, I suspect, had heavy involvement of Guardiola.

Either way, Bayern are just the perfect club in every way possible.

He still managed to combine "juego de posición" with typical Bayern style. They play with crossing wingers and two #9 so at the end it doesnt matter the number of German players on the pitch, he kept the German identity and made it richer.
