You can tell Mark Hughes never played FM. If you put 8+ strikers forward, you normally lose. Maybe he wants to get the Reserves to win their league, which would be a great honor for the club.

Your first post was obviously aimed at me.

And lordspawn, you're a little confused. Tevez, even when he wasn't "obstructed" by Berbatov in his first season, scored 19 goals in 48 games. That was his great season right? Berbatov's first season was 14 goals in 43 games and he shared pitch time with Tevez. Pretty close record there....

I just can't see how Tevez is going to get more games than he did with us considering you guys have more strikers who are capable of having a consistent goal scoring run.

Tevez also created tons of goals and supported rooney big time

Great deal signing Tevez. No matter what Man U fans say, I think the dude's an awesome striker.

Oh, and good luck raping United next season !! (H)

Really? He made 3 assists last season in 29 games. Berbatov made 10 in 31 games.

Anyway I wish Tevez best of luck.

You guys should realize by now that "reason" isn't within TLS' vocabulary.

Tevez is gonna provide this team with something that Robinho never did. That's passion and drive for 90 minutes. As of right now I'm confused about what our starting XI will look like.

Given
Zabaleta Richards Kompany Bridge
Ireland DeJong Barry
Robinho
Tevez Roque

But where does that leave the likes of SWP and Petrov? Unless of course DeJong gets demoted to the bench and we go for a Real Madrid-type midfield with absolutely no defensive support.

Berba created the most goals for us last year i think if not he was right u there

Ur such a clown!

thats because Berba**** played ALOT more genious.

Take CLs matches a few times berba**** was on he was completly useless than Tevez came on and single handly changed the course of the game in uniteds favor.

just face it Tevez way better striker than Berba**** will ever be

go back and watch this year cl when berba**** was starting and tevez came on and see the difference on offense how united pay than come back kid and you'll see my point

And where would you add Adebayor there too?

Replace Roque with him, I guess. But I'm working with what we already have, not what we're going after. Or else I'd replace Richards with Lucio/Luisao/Terry.

lol @ Richards over Kompany, RSC as an attacking mid and no Ireland in sight.

RSC in my formation is CF not CAM

Micah richards is better than kompany. Micah Spent to much time last season focusing on trying to become a friggin RB which he failed miserably at instead of whathes good at which is CB and thast why he was ****ty last season alot of time.

and do you blame him when u have Dunne as 1 of your D partners? whos been even more dismal (more often then great)

and did u watch the under 21 championships Richards was amazing during it.

He experimented with a new position and was focusing solely on that and he realized now i'm sure he cant play hat position well that's part of being a really young player is discovering where you can and cant play and your versatility as a player.

and now now with all the players we got we are alot stronger now and are more stable in midfield which is what we were lacking with Barry.

but if you want to make it a CAM you can switch RSC with Ireland.

People forget that Richards is stil VERY young and isnt well experienced yet. its alot fo Pressure to put on such a young not fully mature player yet. you gotta give him time.

If Terry comes Terry will be a very good mentor t Richards as he is current england captain and im sure Richards will be a future england captain when Terry retires. and if terry comes ricahrds will be playing wth england captain so they will build a chemistry and Richards will flourish under Terry's wing.

unbalanced.
barry cant hold up whole midfield alone, if you go to play with such formation to old trafford they are going to score you a bunch of goals.

Bridge was good at Chelsea, but Cole was simply better. I don't see why you wouldn't play him at the very least until you get to the CL.

bridge os decent but just not good enough at his age he is told old by the time he developshed be in 30s then h wont even be a starter anymore just a waste of effort.

According to BBC, Adebayor's passed his medical and his move is complete, just pending the work permit which should be granted later tonight... Wow, that was a quick deal.
