Chelsea actually have a better record without Terry in the lineup. Look, if I was Chelsea I would totally do this, and if I was Terry I'd at least want to hear the contract offer. City might give him 250k/week. Not sure I'd take it, but I would at least want to hear what they have to say.

Defensively they were alot weaker actually i know i watched them they were pretty damn poor in def when he wasnt playing offensively that was different. i mean from a defensive perspective they were alot crappier without terry.

He is just phenominal defender and is worth the 50m.

Ivanovic and Alex improved last season. Who knows if they would get better with more playing time.

I doubt that Terry will end up leaving...he'll just take the GBP 150,000 from Chelsea and stay. He's said(numerous times) that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

It's just surprising that this sort of thing happened. He clearly must have been impressed after his conversation with Mark Hughes.

Just read about Adebayor. How ******* useless, honestly. Tevez is expected to sign by the end of the night to add to our already stacked attacking options, why would we go after Adebayor? Plain ******* foolish, why don't we go sign a left-back or centreback who we actually NEED.

because 2 superstar strikers arent good enough we need 1 or 2 backups incase of injury.

and i read Kompany will be missing start of Season with a foot related injury that hes been carrying from last season finally is having surgery or something like that.

For what city are trying to do benjani Bellamy and those guys arent good enough.

Yup, Kompany's missing the start of the season. This will probably encourage Hughes to sign 4 more strikers

And Bellamy and Bojinov are world-class back-ups if you ask me, can't ask for much better. Why sign Adebayor and have one of him, RSC or Tevez unhappy on the bench? Had we not signed Santa Cruz I'd be happy with Ade coming, but at this point he's just not a smart signing.
