Injuries at the start of the season won't be too big of an issue. United got off to an ice cold start last year.......you have got to be consistent when your players are healthy(and they will be healthy for an extended stretch of the season) and it is that CONSISTENCY that will keep you in the title race.

We were not consistent 2 seasons ago and we were not consistent last season.

Gerrard is doubtful for season opening trip to White Hart Lane. Spurs can crush us without him.......Keane and Crouch will WANT to score to prove a point. Pavlyuchenko scored yesterday against Argentina......we've got injuries left right and center. Going to be a losing start to the season..

By the way, Babel played well last night and to be honest, I didn't see anything positive from Johnson. Tough I think he will do OK job in attack but he's not that good in defence.

I hope Gerrard is fit enough to play on Sunday against spurs... it seems our team is more like a Hospital (Aquilani,Gerrard,Carra,Agger, and Skarted)... we need cover for CB.

Fernando Torres has signed a new contract with Liverpool. This doesn't mean anything because if we don't win anything this season(and I think there is a very good chance of us not winning any trophies), then I'm almost certain that Torres will ask for a transfer.
