I only watched this because I lived in London at the time, and wanted to see the streets that I lived in empty and zombie-like. I thought it was disappointing.Back Door Skip;3803848 said:28 Days Later - For a zombie-esque movie it was pretty good, but thought it'd be better.
Yes.And shut up, chygry.

I quite enjoyed all of Nolan's Batman movies, and I'm not usually into superhero movieschygry;3809847 said:I recently gave those batman movies a try, didn't bother with the first one because that one was bad from what I had seen, not much I must admit. The Dark Knight and the third one however were pretty damn good. Oh and that performance by Ledger as the joker was one of the best I've seen. :P
Yeah me neither (being into superhero movies), but I just couldn't watch the first one. I think the last one was the best, but it's a difficult decision to make because of Ledger's performance in the second one. Nolan is a fantastic director but I think his problem is that very often his movies lack some kind of a quality ending. Like he runs out of ideas, and makes a mess of it imo. I loved the one in the last batman movie. I really did. The whole story about that Florence thing was one of the highlights of the movie for me. Also it had good actors. I was quite stupid not to watch those movies earlier labeling them rubbish without even seeing them. :PAlex;3810078 said:I quite enjoyed all of Nolan's Batman movies, and I'm not usually into superhero movies
Never seen it. Would you recommend it? Just checked it out on IMDb and I'm not exactly a huge fan of Vin Diesel either. But it's not rare at all when I think some movie is shite, finally decide to give it a chance and it turns out to be good. :PMandieta6;3810301 said:Guardians of the Galaxy is entertaining.
Yup I know exactly what you mean. There have been so many superhero movies lately with almost every quality actor putting on a fucking cape. I loved how Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance made fun of that. I don't think I could ever watch Ironman, although Robert Downey Jr is one of my favourite actors. I think it's just too much, especially with 3 movies being released already. Also I don't believe in some random directors.ShiftyPowers;3810262 said:Those are the only superhero movies I've watched on my own in a long time; I guess with the exception of the first Iron Man which was also good. I've seen a few others, like Captain America (not bad), but those were on planes or buses. Not into those movies at all usually.

Hahaha :P, I had no idea. I might give it a chance then.MaestroZidane;3810319 said:Funny that you mention Vin Diesel, seeing as how he only does the voice for one of the characters whose whole vocabulary is one word. So you should be good there.

Fair enough. Just don't be so bitter all the time and try to enjoy life a little more!Mandieta6;3810355 said:I was talking to Shifty not you chygry.
