Last movie you watched

Hakeem

Superman
agree about This is England. watched it a few months ago and loved it. the kid is indeed amazing. so awkward looking and that great acting that brought a really intense performance. not sure if I can compare it to American History X like that though.

Tosiek

Słowiańska Dusza
The Queen - Not so good as I previously thought. I should focus on actors play but I couldn't. It was just too boring.

Ubik Valis

Croatian Viking
Last couople of days, I've seen:

Dark City
Pretty cool and interesting story, but it did feel a little too short, and Rufus Sewell's acting seemed a bit weird to me. Don't know how to explain it.

Eraserhead
Not as amazing/scary as I had thought it would be, but definitely bizzarre and insanely ambiguous.

Ichi - The Killer
Insane. One of the THE most amazing movies. Completely brutal and fu*ked up violence. I kept wanting to look away...but I didn't.(:/)

Filipower

Bunburyist
I wasn't, as I generally don't look for loopholes in movies, I just try to have a good time...actually the thing I could say about Jumper is that it should've been longer, you know? develop it a little better...anyway it definitely created space for a sequel, so..

rony31

Team Captain
Terminator 2 a few nights ago. "I know now why you cry" followed by the greatest movie theme song of all time. ****in classic.

Cloverfield

Just put JJ Abrams in charge of every movie from now on, that's all I'm saying. (H)

Huh? It was awful. Horror monster movies with characters so undeveloped that the audience is indifferent to their fate don't work. Particularly when the monster spawns are so laughable and the horror scenes are so transparent that you know exactly what's going to happen well before it does. Whatever floats your boat, though...

King Of California - Michael Douglas is perfect, you have to watch this dark comedy if you havent watched it, its a taste between Mr. Schmidt & Sideways

Last Kiss
- This romance/drama fully about relationships and it examines them like no other movie did before, completely unbiased and the movie flows in a perfect harmony, its funny though this movie inspired me to end my relationship which lasted for 4 years.

I'll be watching City of Men tonight, its supposed to be the second film of the previous popular brazilian movie, City of God

NODOUBT! Easily one of the most overlooked flicks of '07....both Evan Rachel Wood and Douglas were award deserving, man.

DEPP. (Y)

brutally depressing, eh? I don't know if Pacino got any awards for that performance, but boy was it incredible....I wanted to cry, but I cannot allow myself to ever be seen as being pathetically human and, and sensitive, you know?...... NEVER!

I highly recommend it. (Y)

Yeah, Pacino was great and I loved Depp too, you could really feel how more and more torn he becomes as the movies progresses.

Gosford Park

My first Altman movie (I'm pretty sure) and it was very enjoyable. Love his style with the massive amount of characters in his movie, great way of keeping the viewer occupied/interested even when the story appears to be just a weekend of aristocratic decadence and snobbishness.
