hmm....Hughes brothers. Why has their output been so sporadic and extremely infrequent? I really love their flicks and consider them to be some of my favorites of all time, but WHAT THE ****, man? Are they irredeemable pricks who are impossible to work for or something?

Finally got Transformers on DVD - WOW! In terms of special effects - every film I've ever seen is obsolete. Even the story wasn't that bad either. Okay there were the usual stereotypical human characters, but it works. As for the action/transformation and fight scenes it's awesome. :shades:

Do you guys think that Michael Madsen would've been a better Vince Vega than Travolta? I believe that role was written specificaly for him...sort of a continuation from his Vic Vega character in Reservoir Dogs.

No. The role may have been written for Madsen but Travolta played it to f*cking flawless perfection.

Well, I guess if the role was written for Madsen then the character's name would be Vic Vega as well :crazyboy: Still, as Alex said, Travolta did a perfect job and the role is only associated with him. Besides, it's like Madsen got his chance in Reservoir Dogs and in Pulp Fiction someone else was given a chance (for Travolta it was more like a comeback though) :crazyboy:

plus QT supposedly has a story somewhere in his head for a movie called The Vega Brothers that has been in the works forever. it was always supposed to be 2 different people.
