remember that broad that they're protecting in the first one? BOY was she unbelievably pretty, man. I remember first seeing that movie in the middle of the night at a friend's house when I was like 11-12 and having a hard time camouflaging my hard-on, man.

Anyway, whatever happend to her?

It was one of those movies we shouldn't be watching at that age, but my buddy's older brother was a cool son of a bitch so he let us sit in and watch with 'em instead of ratting on us and being a dick about it.........what a rush of memories, man.

OOOHHHHH......OHHHHH....OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

That chick was Tea MOTHER****ER Leoni, eh? I'm sorry but I haven't rewatched the flick since that time. I just IMDBed the movie and was completely surprised that the broad that I mercilessly whacked it to that night and the morning after was none other thanMrs Duchovny, man. I thought that she was a small time actress who fell by the wayside after that role.

Wicked....I'm gonna go recapture my sexual desires for her from like a decade ago now, man.

Miami Vice.....farrell ruined this movie almost entirely by himself.....what a terrible selection the people making this flick made in choosing 'em, man.

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice.

Decent flick. Man, what a stone cold fox Natalie Wood was, eh? Also, what a great talent Elliot Gould was, man. If he wasn't such an absolute prick to work with, maybe he would've gotten more significant roles in his formative years?

Well, Shoot 'Em Up looked okay on the trailer. And Clive Owen was starring in that, since I had his badass performance of Children of Men fresh in my mind, I thought it'd be a good movie. I couldn't be any more wrong, though. I literally left halfway.

About Nanny Diaries... I was coerced by a chick into watching it. I didn't pay for it, so it was all about being polite I guess. It wasn't THAT bad, but it's something I'd have trouble admitting that I watched it.

Cool, bro. Those be some very reasonable explanations.

regarding that nanny flick. Is Scarlett involved in any sexually explicit scenes?

Haha, that was what I was hoping for, but unfortunately that movie is VERY PG.
She's very sexy in an innocent way in the movie, though.

On the plus side Alicia Keys is in it. So it's not all bad. (H)

^^ Raper....errr...Rafer.....dig in, bro.

Cate Blanchett.....best working (save for Streep) actress alive today??

hmm....I just wanted to throw that question out to you guys, man, because I'm almost certain that she is.

I've been lucky enough to watch 3-4 flicks that she's been in over the past year or so, and boy is she remarkable, man. It's not that I've been sleeping on her or nothing. It's just that I've underappreciated her immense talent, I guess. She's a tremendous force on screen...a spectacularly commanding presence without being overdramatic in the least bit, man.

Anyway. If you guys object to this claim, or feel that you've got others that may pose a strong challenge to her, then by all means, share them.

btw, not to fag up the thread or nothing, but she might be the worst dressed celeb around, man. It's as though she goes greatly out of her way to just ugly herself up, but she's not deceiving me one bit, man. I consider her to be very attractive despite her hideous dresses and hairdos.

Death Proof....... absolute genius.... maybe not a great movie but I totally loved it, I love the 70s exploitation style, I loved the dialogue, the soundtrack, the concept.... EVERYTHING. Kurt Russell was magnificant, I went in really against him and bitter of his stealing the part from Mickey Rourke, but he totally won me over. I loved the rediculous over use of references to other Tarantino movies, everything he's been trying to phase out of his movies was back in abundance, and his cameo was perhaps his most phenominal performance yet........ I honestly swear he is a really really great actor. I am just so gutted that I havent been able to see it as part of the original Grindhouse, with the fake trailors and extra ******* up of the reels and all, they'd better do a DVD release.

I agree that he was really bad for this movie, and also do you agree that for such beautiful people all the sex scenes in the movie were dry, unerotic and totally boring?, but I wanted to ask, what do you think of Farrell as an actor generally?

I actually really quite like him, I thought he was great in The New World and I also though he had a lot of potential in movies like The Recruit. I agree he was totally miscast but I am still a fan.

Help?

Saw Good Luck Chuck and yeah it was totally my decision. Funny movie, not hilarious like Superbad, no where near, but HEY, they got lots of full-frontal of women. Plus they got Jessica Alba acting goofy. The closing thing with Chuck and the toy penguin was just (:/)

He's one of the best (If not the best) celebrity interviews to listen to or read. I'm not much of a drinker, but if there was one person in the entire world right now that I could have as my wing-man and go out on a debauched bender, it'd be him. He's just a genuinely cool dude, man.

Now as far as his acting abilities go, I'm really ambivalent and unconvinced at the moment. He's been having trouble recapturing that award deserving performance from Tigerland, eh? Ever since that breakthrough role, he's been overexposing himself both on and off the screen like some trashy tabloids seeking attention-whore. He was trying too hard to live up to that badboy , Cocksman persona that the Hollywood system has concocted for 'em for quite a while now, and so as a result, his script selections became questionable at best, you know? It just seems to me that he was taking roles simply because of the big names attached to the projects that he might've admired growin' up or something and getting swept up and overwhelmed by his massive hype and publicity instead of carefully reading through them and seeing them for the pieces of **** and repetitive projects that they were. Now that he's had his run of making big blockbusters, dipped his Cock in just about every Hollywood starlet that you could name, and his fixation of being the industry's badass has waned down quite a bit, and he is financially set, I hope that he ups his standards in terms of the roles that he chooses, you know? Instead of being a cheap whore who can't turn down anything that's thrown his way. Luckily, he's got age on his side.

Here's my take on the movies from his filmography that I've seen.

Tigerland: as I've said earlier. This is his watershed thus far.

Phone Booth: I really enjoyed this one....one of his best outputs, for sure.

The Recruit: did an adequate job...nothing memorable. He was overshadowed by Pacino a bit, but that's to be expected. It was just a bland flick from top to bottom, man.

Minority Report: a very solid performance....no quibbles here.

SWAT: another mundane and tripe role....probably a quick cash grab for both he and Carlos*son because they were both garbage in it.

Daredevil: one word UTTER****.....a cringe inducing performance

Hart's War: did the best with what was given to him here....solid performance.

Alexander: DEARLORDNOOOO.......about as terribly miscasted as it can get, man. A messy piece of **** on all fronts (even Kilmer...but he rules, so we'll forgive 'em) Anyway, some casting c/unt probably thought..."Oh, so we're competing with a movie about the same exact subject that's gonna star Dicaprio, let's get the hottest, most publicized actor around right now"

Again, I really can't blame 'em for choosing this role, as it probably had some great potential in its project phase, but it still doesn't excuse 'em from his horrid performance, man.

The New World: What an epic...literally, eh? Heh. Oh man, this movie was a masterpiece in its cinematography and engrossing storytelling, eh? It probably could've been edited down a bit, but as far as the acting goes, it was a joy to watch Colin, Pocahontas (she's legal, right?. Not that it'd stop me from whacking it to her or nothing), and Bale in the last half of the movie.

Again, an excellent performance.....probably his second best thus far.

BTW, I've heard some great things about Intermission, have you seen it? I've been meaning to see it for sometime now, and I even actually got the chance to some time back when it aired on the television here (mid-afternoon I think it was), and I just unknowingly passed it over, thinking that it was some ho-hum Brit flick or something.....too bad.
