See, there's another prime example of how you bastards bash out leagues, players, and out national team. Jesus Christ, the MLS has only been out for 7 or 8 years now. It has to take some time for it to grow and expand as a modern sport here in the states. Well said Hydro, people across the pond don't relize that this league only spends 1.6 million per team per year on player salaries, but have still managed to win 3 continential titles and 1 intercontinential title in its breif existence. Not to mention the success our national team has enjoyed since Bruce Arena has taken over.
And with young players like Quarantra, Convey, Davis, Twellman, Beasley, and Donovan. The league and our nation is goingto continue to make noise on the Worlds stage.

vs portugal - portugal were very very poor .even korea beat them.
vs mexico - u cant possibly call them a good side ..england stuffed them 4 - 0 a short while b4 that.

id say any one of the teams for the nike secret tournament ad will kick america's ass.

Damn, who cares how good everyone is and who cares who holds a grudge? I got up at 4am to watch Uruguay defeat Aust, i was heartbroken but Im not holding the grudge. America won those matches because they were better on the day and it takes nothing more than common sense to work out why Donnavan is on the cover.

This Landon Donovan thing has gone on for too long now, lets put it to rest:

He plays for the USA international team and is a good play, a player rated in the 60's is an above average player. He is a good player, but that's why Beckham, Carlos, Zidane, Henry, Davids and other PRO players' are rated MUUUCH higher then that, because they're better players' then he in real life and if Donovan got something like an 80+ in the game, then he'd be representing a player that would be capable of been in the Manchester United/Real Madrid type squad, now think to yourselves when you think he SHOULDN'T be in the 60's and just LAUGH, cause putting him in the 60's is ACCURATE, good job EA!

Either way, I can't stand LD as a club player, but I enjoy what he does for the country. Same as a lot of Englishmen think of Beckham I guess.

60's are not an actaul represenation of Donovan. EA rated him higher in World Cup 2002. If he sucks so bad, why does perennial German powerhouse Leverkusen want him back so badly? they sure didn't give a crap where he went 2 years ago.

Donovan is cool, but for America O'Brien, Mathis, or Reina should have been on the cover. You Assholes in Europe can talk your **** about the US team thats fine. And we prob won't win the Cup for awhile if we do, but that doesn't mean that we're not a force to content with. And do you make fun of us calling it soccer? You're right that MANY americans have ever made it big in Europe. But Soccer or "fottie" is getting bigger here,a nd players are getting better, so in 5 years that statement may not be true. right now we have 2 keeps making it big in the Premiership, and Reyna is Sunderland's cpt. and O'Brien is turning heads for Ajax

MLS is boring but it is getting better. It may never be as good as Serie A or Premiership, I doubt it will come close. But neither wiht the Mexican league.

And if an American is buying FIFA2003 then he's a soccer fan and would know who giggs, Davids etc. are. Carlos*ass. If you're in Europe than why do you even care who's on the American version's box.
