guys i just read on calciomercato and i think it says miguel has cancelled his contract with benfica. mr moggi loves his free transfers. it means he doesnt have to think about what to spend!! miguel to juve anyone??

WTF DID WE SERIOUSLY SELL APPIAH FOR 8 MILL??

outstanding! good luck to the ghanaian. hopefully fenerbahce give him a great chance at playing more first team football, something he lacked at the bianconeri.

I wouldn't complain at that deal. I hope Miguel really HAS cancelled his contract, but I wouldn't hold my breath :brow: I still can't believe we got 8 million for Appiah, only Moggi could pull something like that :borat:

Juve undoubtably has the best crop of DM or any team in Europe, but they're AM options are pretty limited, especially with Appiah's sale. They also sold Kapo, and Olivera is hasnt impressed me in the slightest. Assuming they keep Chiellini (hope not) I guess if Camo or Nedved (now very injury prone) they could move up Zambro and replace at LB with Chiellini, but thats all. They shouldve kept Maresca as the $2M is a disgrace to a player with his talent.

I thought they'd get $4.5M tops for Appiah, but the Turks are desperate for top talent I guess. (C)

yea clau the article that i read said 3mil

if miguel came for free we'd have at least 16mil to wipe our arses with. (Appiah+Miccoli)
maybe we could buy a good player worth the 16 million to come and sit down on the bench.

just imagining it is astonishing, to have a mercato like ours was with 16 million to spare that came from just pennys :jambo: .

GRAZIE MOGGI!!:rockman:.

Buffon: We Have No Weak Points

The number one shot-stopper is confident about this Juve team.
Gianluigi Buffon feels that the Bianconeri can achieve a lot, even more than last season which ended triumphantly with the conquest of the 28th Scudetto.

“We are more aware of our strength. In the first week of summer camp, the warmth of the Juventus public was exceptional. We won back the people with the last Scudetto win and now the atmosphere is different; we feel them closer to us than last season. I was impressed by the incredible enthusiasm of our fans in the last two home matches; I would like that it was always that way."

Buffon also gave his opinion about the latest Juve arrival: Patrick Vieira.

“We saw with how much confidence he arrived. He showed the tranquillity of the strong. Speaking in general, apart from Vieira, who is a great player, we have strengthened all our lines. I cannot find a single weakness in this Juve side.”
