What about the fans of Inter and Roma who had to deal with the heartbreak of knowing their teams were cheated out of Scudetti and the Champions League when they were probably good enough?
i agree with you, but i just want to know how much of an effect the match fixing actually had...like enough to override effect of the talent and work of the players

Yeah... I dont have the feeling Juve got more calls in their favour then Inter for example. They even made a DVD about how Inter got more calls in their favour this season. It's kind of sad, but still. It also cost us the Supercoppa ( a trophy is a trophy, especially against Inter :amika: )

Had enough effect to alternate important games like the imfamous penalty not given to Ronaldo. It's a huge bonuss to enter the game knowing that ig you dive you will get a Pk and being almost ertain that if you couse a sure Pk it will not be given mate. Just don't make wortheless assumptions.

Roma gave Rolex watches to refs and got away with it so I don't care if they got cheated or not. Giving gifts to refs is sports fraud right?
The FA changed the rules for non-EU players DURING the serie A season and Roma won the scudetto with Nakata scoring against us.

Inter gave fake passports to players like Veron and Recoba. Only Recoba got suspended but not Inter. So, they played in many games with 1 or 2 extra non-EU players.

Other smaller teams got away with false budgets and some could of been demoted to serie D and nothing happened.

We haven't been caught buying refs or anybody and we're going to serie C?

Even if it's worth 2 wins instead of 2 draws and 1 draw instead of 1 loss, that's 5 points per year. Very significant.

However looking at Juventus' tremendous gap on the competition these past few years, considering on paper they are probably about even with Inter and Milan, one has to wonder how much the refs did help. One loss this year!?!?

More than 20 games are being investigated and most of them involve the old lady. How many 1-0 wins did the Juvenitini had? C'mon guys some Rolexes are nothing compared to inviting referies at your restaurant and giving 'detailed' instruction on how it should be 'done'.
Juve cheatted there is no questioning that, and the magnitude of the fraud is so that a serie C is fair and square in this case.
Milan cheated lin 86 and they were relegated, so why not Juve? Too much money at stake? Well to bad some heads have to roll. If that sounds sad Juve fans have their geometrical figure to blame: La triade.

With all the transcripts there's no talk between Moggi, Giraudo or other Juve management with refs about giving them "instructions".

There's Moggi talking to the ref designator and saying that this ref should ref this game, another that game....

when you look at Moggi's "suggestions", some don't match with the actual facts.

You have Moggi giving **** to Paparesta after he gave Reggina 3 points agaisnt us. Media said they locked him in the room and it's not true.

that's all they got with the thousands and thousands of hours of phone taps.

Why is Moggi talking to the designator than? Too hook him up with some local prostitutes?
C'mon man be smarter than that. No official has any right to talk to the designator. And than the talking was not a friendly meeting between mates. It was about soccer, corrupted soccer. You can't possibly be asking the referies boss to hand pick the referies and run away intact.

Everyone is blaming Moggi, and not Juve.
Well Moggi was getting payed from juve and he dedicated his cheatting to make your team great, so not only Moggi deserves to rott in jail but Juve deserves every beat of what is being charged with.

I'm not saying we're clean and should stay in serie A with no point deduction. Every team talked to the ref designator but Moggi and Meani(talked to linesmen and pushed to have some of them for certain games) pushed the enveloppe and both teams should be punished.

To me, serie C is too much.

anyway cheers mate and it's nice to debate with someone that doesn't throw insults and crap here. (Y)

I don't even feel like laughing about this. I wish for A with let's say -20 points but serie B seems more likely.

anyway, some people are already starting some 06-07 threads so I'll let any top poster here have a go at it. I guess it's preferable after everything gets cleared up and we know what Serie we'll play and what players we'll have. It's time that the old guard like me passes the torch to the new blood.

On the plus side, you guys will have the first SG thread dedicated to a Third Division outfit.

Ok I'm done, promise.

Would you really start a thread? I mean, that news would just be depressing every week: "Del Piero bags 5 against Spal" "Buffon sold for 10M Euros"

do you actually know Spal or did you do some research?

Im guessing CM (H)

Anyways, things really dont look good for Juve right now. I'll leave it at that. I dont want to add the pain.

Ah, should I do it? I already put something together.
