I play FIFA since 1996 when I was a child and since that year I always played Fifa and preferred them to PES! And this will always stay so!

okok just so you know it is possible to assign buttons .

as for the demo im not convinced this is FIFA 08, first of all you can't customise your formation - it says in every review you should be able to adjust positions just like in PES, secondly no new skills at all. i've done rainbow dozen of times with right analog but that's about it. Im almost sure EA are taking a p.ss .

Just played a game to soon to say about the game , but one thing that sticks out a mile is the Sprinting or lack of it. The animation is ok there arms and legs move as if they are sprinting and its a couple of taps of the ball in front of themselves and then a longer one but there is no speed to there runs its awful looking.

I had Herny on the ball and was tabbing the sprint button, as I said the animation looked ok but the speed of the run???? looked like he was running on wet tar.

Dude there's no tapping the sprint button in fifa for a couple of years now i think even way back to fifa 04! You're suppose to hold the sprint button!

I imagine the PC version is much different than the 360, PS3 version since those that have played it say it's very good. Totally different engine I think. Anyone confirm this? I know last years PC and 360 version were different.

Of course they're different, they're two completely different games, and the pc version is only an updated and a bit changed version of fifa 07, and 06 and 05. they don't care about current gen fifa, but i dont realize why they don't release the next version for pc, and simply stop making current gen, i mean other new games that are made for next gen arrent made for current gen also.

lol.Im stay at asian right now.i can translate to them too in the chinese forum.By the way.FIFA 08 PC version ? Graphics sucks.But i think if Xbox360 nor PS3 version will better than it. (FIFA 07 360 version has already show us the improve graphic)

There may be some improvement in gameplay i discover at some point.. i hope so.. it's just i don't even like to score a goal just to see the same very uncool celebrations for the 3'rd year in a row.. the "swim" the "wave your arms silly over your head" and worst of all the "f.... my teammates face" ...daaamn they could be so mutch better and cooler

And they sure keep the tradition off damn ugly kits/fonts ect... total mess!

Just my first thoughts..

Horrible it plays the same as FIFA 07 and graphics wise still looks like FIFA 07 with some minor extra details i was hoping that FIFA 08 would be actually half decent but i was wrong.

Hopefully PES2008 will be good and Konami didn't slack off and that PES2008 doesn't end up becoming PES 6.1 just like FIFA 07.1 or so called FIFA 08.
