in a producer diary they said there would be international tournaments but they didn't say anything about world cup or qualifyingg. You can create your own tournament also.

Been over a year since I sold my PS2, so my memory of the Konami titles is sketchy. First touch is great though, really makes the game.

I just turned the console off, so you'll have to wait for ratings. I played as Bayern in a friendly (changed the lineup though). They'd put Sagnol in the middle (I though he was R
, and a midfielder at RB (Salihamidzic), plus Hargreaves on the bench. They also have Schweinsteiger listed as a defensive mid (if he is, I didn't know).

Had a quick play around. It did say something about editing existing players, but I didn't investigate whether that meant edit existing user created players only.

A bit like those old Nike ads with the 3 v 3 competition. Very shadowy promo footage (it all takes place in some poorly lit indoor court), but I'm sure I spotted Ronaldinho in it. Not the actual player but his cpu likeness. Some dude hits a backheel against the wall and collects the rebound behind the player, bunch of tricks and flicks basically. The URL in the clip isn't active yet.

No, unfortunately.
I managed to get some MLS player (Edson Buddle?! Who?!) to pull off Zidane's roulette move. EA's got me playing the MLS Cup in an attempt to gain points and unlock night conditions for stadiums - I don't think I'll be playing this "DONG Cup" though, that just sounds dodgy.
I should have gone Metrostars, since New York is the home of jazz music, but I didn't want to represent New Jersey in the process. So Columbus Crew it was.
For the record, Crew play a 3-6-1 formation. Six midfielders. SIX! Not since John Barnes tried his hand at management have I seen such bizarre tactical experimentation.

Are you able to change anything about the existing players on the game? like boots, stats etc.

it depends on what options you can do with the create tournaments?
can you make 8 groups of four?
can you do a league with 20 or so teams? and would the schedules be all wierd again?
and are you able to change the clubs in a competition like you were able to in FIFA 2004?

ive noticed that in FIFA games recently (2003, 2004) teams sponsered by Nike havent had the nike tick on there shirts etc.. i was just wondering weather or not 2005 will have them on the shirts or not this year.. and what i found strange about the 2004 case for the game.. they didnt have nike logos on the shirts in the game.. (and what i remember they have every other logo like adidas and all the other top brands) but on the case.. henry, del piero and ronaldino were all wearing nike football team sponsered kits.. (juventus, arsenal & brazil).. anyone else find that strange?
