No CPU substitutions. Wouldn't know the Mexican players to recognize them. Whole heap of national cup competitions under the tournament list, but no UEFA CL equivalent that I could see (that's what custom tournament is for).

Celebrations for custom tournaments are as disappointing as last year (quick group photo cut scene).

Rest of the world includes Galatasaray, River Plate, Boca Juniors, Sparta Prague, Olympiakios and Panathaniakos (I think). Plus some others, I'm working off the top of my head here (Trinidad vs Mayorga is 10 minutes away, so I'm not turning the console back on!).

Not for custom tournaments. Haven't played an EA tournament yet.

My father is from West London, it's a family tradition to support Chelsea. I'll admit having a soft spot for Ajax and Barca though.

It's about 14 I think, but you're right, they could have put in some of the Eastern European teams that are in the UEFA competitions (CKSA, Dynamo, etc).

Oh, and there's a promo video for something called "FIFA Street" on the disc. It looks a bit like those Nike ads with Cantona running the 3 v 3 tournament.

find it strange there are no real trophy celebrations, they should at least have a cup in the phoo like they did in FIFA 2003, but didnt have in 04.

They do have a trophy room, it has pictures of the trophies that can be won in the game, which you can scroll through. I guess once you've won them it puts your name there or something. I might try winning a trophy later today, so I can spend some points in the store.

Having to collect points to unlock night conditions at the various stadiums is a pain in the a$$!

they should put the team that you won it with on teh trophy or something, say you win the Spanish Cup with Zaragoza, or the Italian Cup wit h Lazio, it shoud list them as the champion or something like that

Can you please post the ratings of FC Porto and possibly their most important players. Like Maniche, Constinha, Diego, Fabiano, Derlei.

Its attrocious how they rated the team last year. Especially since they were UEFA Cup champs.

I would really appreciate it. thanks.

Wait a sec, I thought it didn't come out until october 8, I've just checked on amazon. Is it out for PC yet or is that definitely the 8th.

I am unclear on what tournaments will be in the game. I ask the following..

Will there be UEFA Champions League?
Will there be UEFA Cup?
Will there be leage cups?
Will there be WORLD CUP?
Will there be World Cup Qualifying?
Will there be other international competitions?

EB in Australia (not sure about other shops) have released it early. They are not supposed to though. I think everywhere else it's not released until the 8th.

I got mine from a local independant shop. Never quite understood what EA have to gain from being so dogmatic on the release date.

Porto are rated as 4-star. Vitor Baia (82), Seitaridis (88), Jorge Costa (81), Pepe (62), Nuno Valente (78), Costinha (84), Maniche (81), Quaresma (80), Derlei (86), Diego (82) and Luis Fabiano (88) are the starting lineup. Some bench players include McCarthy (81), Carlos Alberto (83) and Postiga (82).

I just won the Dutch Cup with Ajax (on amateur mind you), and no trophy in sight. Just that same group photo. Grrr!
