You mention the ghetto, fatherless life. Isn't that the real problem? Poverty? Desperation? Because plenty of white kids listen to rap music too, in fact during NWA's later, particularly violent and misogynistic years, their audience had switched to white suburban teens. Blaming rap music for problems in inner city communities is about as stupid as blaming Columbine on Marilyn Manson. Every segment of America has its violent history and violence-glorifying mediums. Personally I think not allowing Tec-9's to be the form in which the problem manifests itself is a good step.
As for Cosby, he can say whatever he wants, and some of the criticism he took was unwarranted, but I did see some people's point that his remarks could be used the wrong way.

I'm not saying that "rap music" is to blame for violence in the black community. I am blaming violence in the black community for "rap music" that glorifies the stuff they do in real life. Nowadays I don't know if that can be true as many of the artists just use the hip hop community as well as white kids in the burbs to sell their music. You mention that white kids were listening to NWA (I was at one point) but there wasn't a huge surge in gang violence among white kids.
So what's going on? Poverty is part of it, but I think the main problem is that many black kids don't grow up with fathers.

fine, less gang murders, but that's really just a manifestation of violence among predominantly black, asian, and latino communities. Whites manifest their violence in different forms, but it is still as widespread.

A scary thought if we all of a sudden see a rise in people carrying (concealed) automatic weapons around for their own protection. I certainly would not feel any safer, quite the opposite. You'd just have to come across this one person who's in a bad mood and ya know, he's got a gun so don't piss him off because you might have a bit a lead stuck in ya.
I don't see the point. But the thing that pisses me off the most is the NRA, their sheer ignorance. They may aswell give a medal to everyone who owns a gun and ever killed anyone with it.

I've read ervery single policeforce in the land would rather have the law stay on, yet the gunlobby manages to make sure that doesn't happen. It's insane.

What reason is there for having semi automatic weapons , they make it so much easier for criminal to commit crime , the only purpose is to kill people.

You're talking about armed forces being armed. I have nothing against that, I just don't get why the general public should be able to buy (semi)-automatic weapons. And don't give me that first amendement crap or "guns don't kill people, people do" or whatever. We all know that's outdated and bull****. Seriously what are the advantages of being able to buy those type of arms so easily?
And for your information, to get your facts right in the future; Americans did not liberate Holland. Canadians, Polish and British mainly did.
