That was some of the worst officiating I've ever seen. Bocanegra should of been gone after that tackle, ditto to Onstad. The yellow for Hedjuk was completely retarted. A TON of no calls for both sides and that final call is such clear robbery that Archundia should be suspended for a good while. It's obvious that a Mexico vs. USA final will be more profitable and it seems like Archundia was thinking about his salary instead of thinking about the game and making the right calls.

PS: still 0-0 in the other match (H), wanna bet Mexico is gonna get a penalty in the last 10 minutes if they don't score by then? Honestly would it surprise anyone if it happened?

Oh by the way I understand the ref bashing but what is with the Donovan bashing? He has a half-dive at midfield and all of a sudden he's a diver :|? He was the best player on the pitch again today and I don't care if he can't make it in Europe, he is a fantastic player and that can't be denied, I don't care if you're Canadian, Mexican or whatever.

Exactly. Riquelme has succeeded in Europe either. Doesn't mean their bad players.

I don't even think it was a dive...he got tripped up and he decided he'd let himself fall instead of trying to keep his balance.

And your description of what Donovan did is technically a dive.

that's so unfair... both teams haven't played so well this tournament, so I really hoped for some extraordinary final. i don't know why concacaf wants that mexico v usa final every time. this is so boring. canada and guadeloupe have been the surprising and outstanding teams this gold cup.
