The ref was bad. But thats no argumentation. Germany didn't play good.

how was the ref bad?

just cause he missed one call he can't see everything

at least he talked to the players and didn't just start passing out yellows right away

some thing my mates actually joked about after the game yesterday: "ahh doesn't matter, we still have frings as an excuse"...I can't believe how stubborn one can be to actually see his ban as a reason for the loss, especially because kehl was the best german player not named metzelder.

How can people say the referee was bad? He did an excellent job and was very consistant in his decisions.

the ref was perfect he should do the final
But he won't, the people in charge of the refs are Spaniards...so that probably means Medina Cantalejo. He IS a bad ref...

Benito Armando Archundia was the MoM in this game, nuff said.

The ref was excellent, how can anyone say that he was bad? This game apart from the discussion about the supporters/media behaviour was really uneventful, Italy deserved the win and anyone disputing that fact isn´t serious.

there was an intentional arm on the ball inside the area by Pirlo in the first half, and that foul on Podolski that the ref (wrongfully) gave against Cannavaro was clearly inside the area.

apart from those 2 decisions, I also thought the ref was brilliant.

I was expecting an 'Italy are pathetic cheats/dont deserve final' response from you.

By the way, Nesta >>>>>> Frings. You guys are a joke if thats the best excuse you can come up with

What? You must be confusing me with someone else. Remember, i don´t hate Italy, i lived there for a year, you are the one who hates portuguese football. I´ve never used that kind of excuse, i´m not english you know.

It´s a matter of opinion or perspective, i don´t really think that Pirlo handball was intentional. About the Podolski foul, i wouldn´t even consider that a foul, but that´s just my opinion. If we consider that a foul we would have 30 penalties per match.

Vinnie I said the foul on Podoslki was wrongfully given, no confusion there.

lol the ball rolled off from the top of pirlo's shoulder down his arm it wasn't intetional and didn't even touch his hand

mika it doesn't need to touch his hand to be a foul, the arm is also at fault you know?

either way if it was intentional or not it's a matter of opinion, I'm sure everyone has its own.
