Give me a break. Ballack and Borowski are throwbacks, they aren't going to give you anything easy, they play the game exactly like it should be played. Go watch some highlights of guys like Cruyff, Pele, and Maradona, they're getting hammered and fouls aren't called. I've seen Cruyff crawling on all fours to stay up and keep at the ball. Ballack and Borowski aren't dirty, it's just that certain pussies have made the game a sport for babies in the past 20 years.

Podolski dives? I didn't see him dive once. I saw him blow at least 3 goals, but he stayed on his feet in the box to get his shots in.

Italy definitely deserved the victory on the field: two posts and two goals aren't enough to deserve the final? Germany simply played worse than Italy, but still far better than when she got 4-1 in Florence last spring!

As for italian football crack there's a specific thread to discuss this. Yet there's absolutely no connection with the WC, since it concerns italian referees and football managers, not players.

speechless. i just got home, it being 3:10AM at the moment, and the game ended at 4:30.

this was an incredible display. i don't know what more to say. the celebrations were out of this world, and the pure emotion was amazing. i can't wait for the final.

fabio cannavaro should be the tournament MVP. i said it after the US game and i stick by it. he is the worlds best defender, no exceptions and no arguments. he makes it looks effortless. buffon was huge again, it is the most reassuring fact to know that we have gigi back there.

hats off to the germans for a great semi, and congrats on a great showing in the tournament. i hope you guys win in the consolation game.
