I have a version of FF10DUMP that attempts to cope with expanded databases but throws up a raft of error messages on the example I've been given (it interprets the database correctly but there seem to be some strange issues with the modified database that trip up various consistency checks in my code and I have a problem with the fact that generally updates only touch one language database and if that isn't English then FF10DUMP doesn't find some of the strings). If you would like to try it out (bearing in mind that I'm not entirely happy with it yet) then I will send you an update. Alternatively (or possibly as well) send me your FIFA.DB, ENG.DB and manager mode save files and I'll use them as additional test data.

I'm dealing with a severe computer virus at the moment, so I haven't been able to pack up my files and send them to you yet, but I will. All those that have requested access to EAFFAnalyser, whether here or via email/PM (or both, in some cases) should have received download details by now.

In addition, all of those that have already received a copy via email should have received a further message with details of where to download an update to FF10DUMP which (amongst other bits and bobs) adds the ability to handle databases expanded by Creation Master and updates to player data via the in game editing or roster updates.

Please let me know if you feel you've been missed out by either communication

Before making the team experience metadata fix to FIFA.DB my code takes a backup of the existing version, using the internal version number to create a filename different from the original. You have obviously already used the team experience fix on an earlier database with the same internal version number and therefore that backup file already exists. Either rename or delete it (depending on whether or not you'd like to keep it) and things will run fine.

Update: scratch that. The above explanation holds good if you get an error code of 7 in that message, so I will leave it there, but error code 6 indicates an access permission issue. Whatever user is running EAFFAnalyser does not have permission to write to the Program Files directory shown in the message and therefore the backup cannot be created. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 then the problem could be a UAC/elevation issue.

As per my email response, this is caused by using Creation Master to remove full team names and was fixed in the v1.3.8 update to FF10DUMP, sent out to all those on the beta test list (which should have included you) on the 5th May. If you (or anyone else, as flagged above) didn't receive it then let me know and I'll re-send.

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 then the problem could be a UAC/elevation issue.

I ran it as admin and it generated 2 warnings but i guess it worked. Ive played 3 games and my exp has reached 62!
