a fit and commited figo is still the best portugese player by far if you ask me.If he isn't fit and commited he's still better than simao...so he's welcome either way ;)

I agree with you m8, except the "welcome either way" part.
Like I've said, I don't like his attitude much, so if he comes back to act like a prima donna he can go f'ck himself and stay on the Madrid bench as far as I'm concerned :hump:

Commited, absolutely welcome.

Who's supposed to score goals? Pauleta or Nuno Gomes?

Neither stiker has been at there best lately. I hope that one of them scores and help us win the damn thing.

About the strikers, in Hugo Almeida and Postiga I trust.

ATM they are the only promises we have, really :$

Not the diving ****... Levezinho :boohoo:
If that happens Madail will get murdered... :lui:

I prefer Nuno Gomes instead of Pauleta, bcause although they're not scoring much lately, at least Nuno provides some nice passes and gives some goal chances to others, but Scolari will put Pauleta anyway why do we even care ? :nape:

We also have young players that can be useful like Postiga (if in his form), Hugo Almeida, Varela did some nice games in the under-21 team as well.

Edit : About Figo's return to the NT, obviously he only returned because he's been warming the bench at Real, so he's just taking advantage of the NT, which is shameful imo. Something Rui Costa, for instance, prolly wouldn't do, to come back with is word. If he decided to retired from the NT after the Euro than why this now ? Pesetero.. :kader:

I'm grateful to what he has done in the NT in the past, don't get me wrong, but honestly i don't agree with his return.

I guess he left the NT because at his age he only can dedicate his effort to one thing. Now that he's a benchwarmer at Real Madrid he'll have a lot of time for his NT.

The word of the players have not any value nowadays..

Ahah you're right, he took a brake ..

That's even funnier, to "take a brake" from the NT and than return now that he's not playing in his club.. he should be honoured to play for the NT, and should play because he wanted to help the team like he has done in the past, not for auto-promotion - and that's clearly what's happening now.

Yeah, he did leave the possibilty of a return open, so this is no surprise. He will complete our squad, cause I don't have too much confidence in Simao.

i presume Figo doesnt want to collapse on the field, and with the amount of the games he played in a year, it was a smart move for him to quit the NT for some time. he aint getting younger. be glad he came to help out the team.

I'm definately happy to hear the news. I really don't understand why some of my countrymen dislike Figo. He is our best of the last decade, cut him some slack people.

our best was Rui Costa! he only passed to much seasons on Fiorentina, and didn't had the projection and the titles of Figo. Rui was/is a genious, a magician. :rockman:

I disagree on that, Figo was most of the times our most influent player in the NT... U just say that cause is your "costelinha benfiquista" talking.

Why oh why is Figo returning exactly when the season is near its end and he's warming Real Madrid's bench?

He's using the NT as a trampoline for a good contract to end his career. Lets hope that at least he can be useful and not take the place of one of our young talents...
