I uninstalled Avira and AVG and replaced without problem with new fifabigfat.exe renamed as fifa08.exe and again installed avg and avira back and everything functioning normally

before i had to reinstall fifa 08 the .exe was working perfectly fine now its not working at all. game and computer freezes when i try to load it up.

Why the thegood doesnt say anything regarding the virus prob it might be a virus and some antivirus programms can not detect it.

Mine is 282kb and I have no problems at all... so the size isn't the problem. Maybe you should use Fat Master (also by Rinaldo) and do a diagnostic. You probably have a *.big file with more than 500 items - the game doesn't like that.

Mine is 284 kb and works great...look at your last change in FIFA, maybe there are some missings and errors.

i think u gotta be under the limit when u start using the increased limit fifa.exe then you can go over.

try moving a zdata file thats not required (like all the faceS) and regenerate fat reduce it to under original limit then run the fixed fifa.exe a couple of then place the zdata back.

when i tried to se the fixed .exe when i was already over the limit fifa crashed for me to so i reduced the size to below normal limit then used it and ti worked fine after (then returned everything)

so try that.

This patch work really fine. My fifa.fat is 403k and without any problem. Try search another problem. Good luck.
