Update: for those, who curious: FIFA 08 has built-in limit for 22500 files in fifa.fat. Originally, there are about 21450 files, so you can add 1050 more without crash.

I think, extending limit to 50000 will be more than enough

but the problem is i am that guy from mania software, and i increased the limit to 50k and give it out to beta-testers 3 hours ago

A can you give us more information's about the new fifa.fat what we can do and what we can not do .
Remember many of the user her wanted a fifa without all the limit to install unlimited Stadiums,kits,teams,addboards(maybe to use them in the free play mode (not in tournament or manager mods) ) ,flags and the other stuff.
maybe you can say us what's are possible and what are not possible in FIfa for us with the new fifa.fat and fifa08.
I hope you ( and your ) team made it possible to fix this problem with the fifa.fat and the addboards because we wanted a free fifa08 to add all the great stadiums and the other stuff in HQ.

Does it work for older fifa versions like 07 also? I have a megaton of stuff in my root folder, enough to build about 8 more zdatas with it over the 441kb fifa.fat 07 limit...
