OckHAM, I have a problem. I've just applied the patch, and the first thing I wanted to do is correct one or two squads before beginning the game with FIFADATA. Anyway, once I head to the Greek teams, I find that none of (at least) Olympiakos' transfers from even the summer season are there. Toure, Babangida etc. I know you used Simonetos' Greek League Patch, but I had that patch on before doing a clean FIFA install for the CEP, and all the latest transfers were there. The team in A' Ethniki in the CEP is (I think) the one FIFA had originally in the Rest of World. Could this be corrected? Could the Greek teams have the correct rosters from the latest version of Simonetos' patch?

Fifa 2006 CEP - Career Expansion Patch

I think I did the adaption from the version I was authorized to use, can't remember wich one. What I can suggest, as for every team/league you don't find sufficiently updated, is to send me txt files with updates of teams (rosters/transfers etc.): I can do the work of update with these files and releasing a simple update only for the database (fifa.db) is of course possible before releasing another full version.
I mean, we have to proceed step by step, considering the size of the project: first step in adding a new league is to add teams and player, then we can focus on improve it and update the rosters (same thing happened with argentina league, for example). So if you want to collaborate I'll be glad to receive your hints.
PS. I don't suggest you to use fifadata to fix rosters, except if you can't live without them: any single error and discordance can make the game not working.

Uhm, not so good really, because this means a triple work of verification/update/fixing. Anyway if you don't have any other way to do it just give me the link for this patch/update and I'll take a look at it: it's not useful that you install it and then send the fifa.db to me.

The fact that you "defended" them is really not relevant Billy, please don't consider this as a "serious" or a relevant fact; you are not in the credits because frankly I can't remember what you did for version 0.11; you did a wonderful gameplay but frankly is not related to the CEP realization... german and dutch language versions have been done from scratch by other translators and with some fixings. In the credits there are the ones who contributed to the patch realization, not all my friends and the person I respect.
Of course. As you can read in the manual, in the readme and in the installation process you have to delete the files contained in "Fifa 06" directory.
You'll have to delete your FIFA 06 folder in your "My Documents" folder if you don't want any incompatibilities with CEP. I'm afraid that you'd lose your career. But OckHAM's the one to verify that.

Edit : technicaly you're right though, those translations were for 0.10, I guess you remade those for 0.11 entirely from scratch
OckHAM, forgive me for my rudeness, but is the CEP 0.11 patch reliable. I will delete the FIFA file in MY DOCUMENTS, I'm sure the patch will be fantastic, but I just wanted to make sure that it has been tried & tested.

the patch is great but the portuguese league is very poorly updated. the teams have players that already gone and miss the majority of the january signings. actually i only noticed Robert and Koke transfers... Porto still have Jorge Costa, Benfica still have Bruno Aguiar, Sporting still have Rogério, etc and i'm talking about the big clubs because the others are simply untouched!

To respect the date for publication I had to postpone the adding of some transfers update and rosters update to next version or next fix. I have a great work with portuguese teams by bruno167 and a project to merge fifafans.net portuguese modifications in CEP. It's just a questione of time.

I suppose that wouldnt cause any problems unless you guys understood something else by transfer option. Im not really good with the utilities flying around the NET. Ah ok, I did not undersand sorry. The problem with in-game transfers is that seems that Fifa is not able to automatically switch shirt numbers transfering players, so if you move the player A who has shirt number 10 to the team X where is a player B that already has the number 10, the game will crash. I'd anyway strongly suggest to just segnalate by mail the modifications that should be done, I'll take all the material in consideration for future fixes and patch versions.
