Here, I figured I'd do something to get my name in the credits again :

Teams.ini :

Corrected the names of Japan, Saoudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, The Netherlands, Ukraine and Iceland in teams.ini for use with Kit Raptor and other import utilities.

Billy (or Ockham): Soundmaster & the soundpatches ARE compatible with Cep, aren't they?

This as I installed your excellent "Roma chants"-patch exactly as described in the tutorial on your website, but the game crashes back to the desktop immediately when starting it.
What can be the problem?

Yes of course all the soundpacks of Billy (excellent ones, indeed) work perfectly with CEP.

Dinamo Bucuresti and Omonia nicosia are missing from the patch...Dinamo joined the uefa cup groups and Omonia played in the 2nd qualifying round..I m just mentioning this....but i have to say the whole patch is SUPERB!

You'll have to delete your FIFA 06 folder in your "My Documents" folder if you don't want any incompatibilities with CEP. I'm afraid that you'd lose your career. But OckHAM's the one to verify that.

Has anyone ever tried editing the career saved game files to try and make them compatible with updated fifa.db files... just wondering as I would like to continue my old career it it were at all possible with CEP 0.11

fifa.fat file a possible party pooper

I ran into something today that could concern the CEP patch future versions also, as of today the fifa.fat file with CEP 0.11 has a size of 317kb, mine however, since I added a couple of zdata files for additional faces, adboards, balls, ect ect arrived at 329kb and guess what?

I tried to rebuild with Fatbhbuilder, Fatgui, Fifafs, The fatbuilder made by Rinaldo for his File Master program, and none is able to rebuild the fifa.fat file correctly once it gets too big (my guess is around 324kb) and Fifa06 always crashes as soon as you click it's icon with a fifa06.exe error. Same thing with the drc.exe from kitraptor (preview mode)

The only thing that got my game running again was removing custom graphics from my new zdata files until the rebuilded fifa.fat file got little enough to be able to resume without the fifa06 error, since I removed lots of graphics at once, I first came at 327kb, a no go, 325kb still not and then at 322kb it worked again.

Now I don't want to cause a panic or anything but Ockham you should test this with your CEP graphic files, as if you add roughly 15 to 20 complete teams with 3 kits per team (another league maybe) you'll reach the 325kb in fifa.fat and then it could cause the same problem (I hope not)

Maybe I'm overlooking something simple but I tried for a fair ammount of time now and my game systematicly crashes once the fifa.fat reaches 325kb. I'm looking for a solution, tell me if you run into the same problems and if you got a possible workaround, thanks

I've noticed a bug in the confederations cup, in the group stages the teams only play two rounds, so don't play each team in their group. eg. Australia only plays Germany then Argentina and doesn't get to play Tunisia.

Strange.. they should be in the game and in the two competitions; I'll check and if it's right this will be fixed, don't worry.

Mmm this is not good at all, but seems a little strange to me. Anyway I'll reach this size for fifa.fat very soon so we can check this inconvenience and see if is a problem of compatibility with other graphical elements you could have installed.

After the group-games in the UEFA-Cup there are 16 teams left for the next knock-out round, whereas in real-life it's 32 (top 3 of the 8 UEFA-Cup groups + 8 number 3's from the CL, so 24+8=32 teams in total). And Roma is not directly in the list of teams you can choose for the UEFA-Cup (Liverpool is eg?), so you have to add/change team in order to play them.

Both things were not of any bother to me btw, but I thought I just mentioned them.

Adding the 8 loosers of CL to UEFA Cup has been a little complicated, this is why I left them out to make a working release.

In the meanwhile I found some small problems with Scandinavian Royal League that I have to fix. There will be surely a small fix exe in next exe; please segnalate things that have to be fixed.

I started a new season, and tried to change the contracts of the players so that I don't lose so much money. I couldn't do so because all their contracts were already for seven years.

This has been changed to avoid freezes, crashes and problems during career. If the CPU has to manage 6000 new contracts each month it will not be able to work properly. If your balance is not good enough try to loan some players.

Add Russian, serbia & Montenegro League, Scottish Lower Divisions,create MOORE & Co CONSTRUCTION SOLICITORS LEAGUE Divison one and two, the divion of FC united so it is joint with the English leagues and I can take FC United to the premiership If possible. Reserve and Youth Squads for Premiership Teams and a Reserve Youth Team League so we can transfer betwwen reserves and first team and also put youth payers in our squad as they develop during the season.

Fix problem with Brazil National Kits

Enable 3rd and Goalkeeper kits in game for most national teams

I would help only I can't write programmes and stuff but I can accumulate data for you of squads player profiles.

The chance of CPU management in-game of the market is limited to avoid freezings. Anyway there is a good chance that the CPU will present offers for your to-be-loaned players. CPU approach to individual players of team should be often too. When you want to buy a players is convenient to search for the specific role you're looking for in the entire list, not in the transfer one, cause is probable that the CPU will not put many players in to-be-transfered status.

thanks ockham. also is there a way of unlocking the career teams quickly so i can start a new career in 0.11 with arsenal or do i have to earn the points for the fan shop again?
