You can try modifying it by yourself increasing the number of match days during week of English Premier League, Mexican Interliga and Gold Cup.

Ah, that is in table_rtsg and table_teamlookup, correct?

Btw, I tested other stuff with the infamous fifa.fat crash, I thought the game slowdowns were directly related to the number of .fsh files I put in the root directory but it wasn't. The game seems to "stutter" a lot more once the fifa.fat reaches 321kb to 324kb as if it's having trouble loading everything and needs to periodicaly reload something in memory, this is happening in all resolutions but the heaviest in the higher resolutions until at 325kb it won't even load and immediatly crashes (as I reported before).

So I "schrunk" my fifa.Fat to 319kb, putting all the graphics that I don't edit anymore in the root directory (basicaly all my adboards, training kits, ect) and now it runs fine without stuttering, strange strange...

hi, i'm having the same problem of the game crashing after the second game of the first season just as i try go to the next game. is there a reason for this? thanks btw my team is arsenal if that has any impact on the problem

Ok, don't worry, I think I figured which is the problem with Premier League; a bit hard to test because my version has not this problem, but I'd should be able to fix this. ANYWAY I remember that you who are using Arsenal, Manchester UTD, Chelsea etc., are NOT using the original CEP as it's recommended: to begin a career with these teams you surely don't have emptied the "Fifa 06" directory in Docs and Settings and you don't have only the CEP installed (modifications done to career settings).

You can avoid to segnalate further problem of matches scheduling for english teams, thanks. Keep updating me with other problems. Another fix is imminent.

Ockham, these are the modifications i have made to FIFA 06 in order of installation if this helps in solving the problem.

1) Official patch
2) CEP 0.11
3) Arsenal 2GK Kits
4) Soccergaming Kits Addons 1 & 2
5) New Arsenal shirt font installed using FIFA Data 2.8 Beta
6) m12.fsh into m12.big
7) fcs minikits patch
8) CEP 0.11a fix

The career crashes at 9% in the simulation stage and at other times appears to skip simulation as by game 3 no other premier league teams had played. Also, the transfer market didn't seem to be working as both offers on players had no responses.

Also i was using arsenal after deleting the FIFA 06 folder in My Documents as i just moved players out in team management to make arsenal 4 stars and started a career as them without changing the career settings.

Right now i'm going to try the CEP on a clean install to try and see if any of the modifications i made are affecting the game.

I am using Manchester Utd, and have emptied the FIFA 06 directory in the documnets and settings folder each time i have reinstalled cep. BUT, after that, I have made some adjustments to the rosters with CC06, and changed a sponsor with tournament master 06. It is quite possible that Something that I have done is messing with cep, but it is also equally as likely that it has not. Nothing that I have done would affect the scheduling and make the game crash, nor would it be a hardware issue.
I appreciate your help with this matter, as fifa is 'boring' without cep, and just not worth playing without it (I tried after all the crashing). Thank you for all your hard work.

You can't use CC with CEP.
That's your problem.

Use FifaData 2006 instead CC or change the rosters inside game.

How can that be my problem if everyone else is having it too, without using CC06? And why would it work only for two games THEN crash? Thanks for the tip though. I've been trying to read the 'official' cep forums, but my spanish isnt so good.

BTW: I forgot to mention that I AM able to play other aspects of the cep, like the world cup tournaments and the like.

An important fix for CEP, Career Expansion Patch, has been released on Sweetpatch CEP home page: it resolves all the problems encountered until now with the last version of CEP.

Career duration is now limited to 7 years? that is not career expansion but career shortening /jk

Also teams 111461 to 111478 have third kits and/or training kits (kit types 3 and 6) listed in the table_teamkits of the fifa.db, but the graphical .fsh files for these kits are missing in the CEP zdatas. These observations are for the database in 0.11 fix B.

Did you test the fifa.fat yet by adding another league, because the longer I test it the longer I get convinced that this is either a limitation of fifa itself or a limitation of the existing fat and bh files rebuilders.

7 years is a good compromise do evitate major bugs; anyway after 7 years you'd have to play with teams full of over-30 and more, and this is not good; but I'm sure it was just humorism. I'll tix the table_teamkits even if actually is not so relevant. I'll start testing with fifa.fat after final fix release and new kits addon release. I'm sure we'll find a solution for this.

Just a remark;
In the Champions League in tournament mode FC Porto should be in instead of Sporting. Sporting should play in UEFA CUP.

I can't imagine going from coaching Pavia to coaching Milan in 7 years, or maybe I'll just make it in final season, but how come that the teams will be full of players of age 30+ only? Are there no new players generated?

I changed my old career.ini to make it able to play 25 years of career instead of 15, approaching more the career lifespan of a real coach, if my career is bound to be limited to seven years only, that is a major gamebreaker for me (and I imagine for many other players too)

Since because of the patch we are basically doubling the number of leagues will Fifa's name repeating strategy get any worse? I mean im on year 2011 and i swear to god every friggin created player that replaces a retiring one is named Faria Pimienta, Clayton, Salgado or Ramos
I currently have 3 Clayton "brothers" playing on my Arsenal team right now and have looked up 7 Faria Pimienta's scattered all over the world. Here's a name for you EA, SMITH. Looking forward to seeing that one all over my career
