well, as of now im not planning to get the game. gonna wait till the final version comes out and see what people have to say about it. i called that detail "crucial" only because since EA wants "absolute broadcast" and total "authenticity", the crowd reactions should be as the way i mentioned.

That's not in the game. All teams react the same way to when a goal is scored. It won't deter me from playing this game though.

I dont think the crowd matters to much but it would have been nice to see the home fans in kits of thier teams, but as ea did say it was going to be absolute broadcast theres a few things that should be in there like subs warming up and then being swaped in a cut scene its not in the demo anyone know if its in the real game ????

I'd like to know how to score properly when you shoot?
Because I'm actually having problems at this. Although I do not have problems in getting into the box, I do have problems once I'm in there and I wanna shoot because if I shoot with a good player and quite a bit of power (enough not to make the ball go low on the ground) the keeper will get it from wherever place I'm shoting from... it just feels unreal, you know, it feels like the goalkeepers are superhuman or something..
I've scored more with low shots than with normal or high shots, which is strange... because the most you press the shooting button, the most strenght the ball should go with, I think.
So is there any tips for the shooting and scoring?

another good thing about this year is that the ai finally makes subs.
i noticed this when i was playing a neverending game (with demo expander) and i noticed tommasson on the field along with ambrossini. I couldn't tell until i saw their faces because there are no subsitution cinematics or notices in the demo.

I've mastered it by just tapping the shoot button and placing the ball when one on one. That way, no matter how good the 'keepers are, if you've placed it low along the ground and to the side of him he has no chance. But the low shot only really works if you're quite close to the goalkeeper. Other situations require a curled shot and others require you to hit a piledriver. A bit of practice and you should figure it out. At first I was struggling a lot with shooting as well.

Thanks Andrew. But could you go further explaining what a piledriver is, pelase....?
And also could you tell me how to get one on one because I've had a few chances to be actually one one one, but I don't know how I did it....

I don't know if you can do the nutmeg, but I've done the Bergkamp move 2 times now. If you're using the keyboard, just tap the left shift button a few times when the ball is about to get to your player. I believe you also have to hold the arrow in the direction that your back is facing for it to work, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Just tap shift when the ball is in the air, and it should work.

fifa 2005 is better than last year's fifa but the penalty system is a joke in this game. The keeper guesses the spot and saves 100%.


I was awarded 2 penalties and I blew 2 of them, what is this a guessing game when it comes up to penalties?

Well i've played the fifa demo with an openmind and yes it plays great in the middle of the park, but totally lets down on set pieces and especially shooting, it just doesn't feel like theres a great deal of skill involved when your in on goal, and the shots fly way to fast.
I just hope EA can sort it out so it looks like this

I'm telling that i don't need to see videos... I have PES... and i don't play PES anymore, i'm tired of PES... FIFA 2005 is awesome.
