So we bought a turkish goalkeeper, 24 year-old Sinan Bolat and he came on a free transfer from Standard Liège. I reckon Fabiano will now be loaned, and after Helton leaves next season they'll both fight for his spot.

Emirates Cup match tomorrow (today actually, it starts like 8 hours from now) against Galatasaray.
Only Izmaylov didn't travel to London due to a minor injury. There's still some players that haven't been used much which I'd like to see in action in this tournament like Herrera, Reyes, Quintero, Tiago Rodrigues and Carlos Eduardo.
There's also the Napoli match on Sunday so there should be room for them...on the other hand the Supercup is already next weekend so the coach might be going for a team built with the players he'd like to start then.
Anyway here's hoping for a nice couple of games with good football

We had an agreement with BMG and the player since June, but now Shakhtar's millions seem to have disturbed the kid's mind. And of course Atlético prefer their €25M bid instead of getting only €20M from our deal. BMG would basically fund us the sale, we'd be spending only €6M but still getting 30% of his economic rights which would be a good piece of business for us.
He's been saying that money isn't everything in life and that if he was to go to a place where he wouldn't be earning that much money wouldn't mind because his happiness is all that matters but he is travelling to Donetsk on Monday to know the place, so I'd say it's almost a lost cause. Which is a shame because he'd be perfect for us and us ideal for him.

Nice performance in this first half, we've had plenty of chances to score and Gala just can't handle our high pressure. We should've scored though.
Carlos*son definitely needs to work harder on his penalty taking because it's getting ridiculous now. Lucho should take them...

I didn't think Carlos*son got poor, he just had no service during the first 30 minutes of the second half.

They've re-started much better than us, and managed to score through a penalty. We then woke up and dominated again until the end, inclusively having the chance to equalize through another penalty that Lucho missed. This is starting to piss me off, what is it with scoring a fucking penalty that's apparently so fucking hard for our players to accomplish...

The 2nd half was very desapointing. I was expecting more from Licá tbh.
So from what I could see this game:
Positive aspects:
-The defense looked some what better structured, with some nice exits to the counterattack
- Defour was really a surprise looks like he really wants to grab his place on the 11. Nice passes, great defensive work and some good movimentations.
- Fabiano - I think we found the perfect substitute for Helton. He is not that good with the feets like Helton but he does his function very well.

-The midfield has the same problem has last year, the CMs playing to apart from each other wich difficultes the build of some plays
-There is no one to carry the ball over the opponents like James or Moutinho, let's see if Quintero can take care of the bussiness...
-Licá was kinda of lost in the game, he was on the center, on the wings, in Lucho places...
-Iturbe.............
-And the lack of initiative to surpass the difficulties

We had a slow first half but the second was great for us. Dispite fielding the same players their attitude was completely different and we ended up pwning Napoli.
