i'm sure they want eto'o, just cant pay him and eto'o wont play in valencia.

ibra own villa, i love villa but zlatan is underated, this player in the actual barça team will become a monster and he is the player who guardiola want ribery aswell, he knows much more than us. If barça has to pay 70 millons for ribery come on, do it i dont care pep deserves anything.

Funny how Barca fans bash Madrid for splashing millions on players, and when Barca splash 40 million + Eto'o on Zlatan, they think it's an awesome deal. 40 million + Eto'o means around 65-70 millions which is around the same price Madrid paid for Kaka. Thank's to Madrid for inflating prices

and in tactical terms he is pretty more versatile than eto'o, can perfom well in the wings.

Plus he is much more stronger than Eto'o and uses his size to his advantage. I've seen him play in the Serie A. It's pretty hard to tackle the ball from him.

you're right we shoud have let him go for free next year, or demand a 50% pay increase, what were we thinking????

eto'o was leaving anyway, they way i see it we spend 40m on ibrahimovic and let eto'o go, not a bad deal on a player who could have walked out for free no???

funny how all other fans bash on us for invading other threads and bashing blah blah blah... bunch of hipocrid :puke:

The way I see it: We paid $40 million for Ibrahimovic and bought out the remaining year on Eto'o's contract which makes him a free agent. That means that Inter will have to sign Eto'o to a brand new contract which will cost Inter that $40 million plus more.

I could be wrong though. I'm thinking in terms of the National Football League here in America.

I personally think Barca should have sold Eto’o to a club like City to cash extra money for likes of Villa or Ribery. But there is no doubt that Laporta and his team will make a decision that suits Barca technically and financially (but I still can’t understand why they didn’t persuade Eto’o to sign extension during last season to sell him with a higher price), and as many of you and especially Arnau stated Pep want’s Eto’o out and he prefers Ibra to Villa. I may not like his decision but he’s the guy in charge.

Somehow, I feel it’s all mind games to force Valencia to sell Villa cheaper coz Barca tried to buy Villa from months back and the original idea was Messi-Villa-Ribery for future. Ibra case is something fresh. I’m really curious to see what happens.

City don't want eto'o anymore. He wants tons of money from any team which signs him.

And the Ibra interest was from the begining of the summer. We were in discusions with Inter but then the negotiations were 'paused' and we started to negotiate with the ****ty Valencia president for David Villa.

INSTEAD OF GIVING ETO'O +40 MIL FOR IBRA. GIVE 40M + ETO'O FOR DAVID VILLA

DAVID VILLA IS 2394823094823049823094824092834092384209482 TIMES BETTER tHAN Ibrahomo****

You don't understand. It would be so simple but Valencia wants ca$$$$$$$$$h , money, gold, however you call them. They don't wantEto'o because they can't pay him even a month. Valencia has some financial problems, that's why they ask for so much money for David Villa.

Inter wanted Eto'o because they are not Valencia, but the idiot fact is that they will spent in the next years those 40 mil. for Eto'o wage.

Valencia really would have wanted Eto'o. Which team in this world wouldn't?! But Eto'o wouldn't play for them, plus they can't pay his salary.

For me it looks simple ;)

I'm still sad for these:

Dytza, you're a racist, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Why?! Nigga isn't an insult. They call themselves like that ;). I'm not racist at all, i'm against racism ;)

Even Eto'o said during this season something like this: "I'm sure at the end Pep will say: 'Hey you, black man, do you want to continue?'"

It were his words. I'm not racist! :icon_spin:

40m +Eto'o is ALOT more then they will ever get for him and if they need to they can sell eto'o also.

Yes but Eto'o is 27 y.o. If he don't have a good season and they sell him they can't get alot for him. If he continues 3-4 years he will be 30-31 so they also can't get much money for him ;)

Whether the deal gets done or not, IMHO Inter will be the big loser in the end because of Barca buying out Eto's contract and making Inter use that $40 million and even more money for a new contract.

No. Inter gets alot from this transfer. 40 mil + a true-blood goalscorer.

Looks like the clubs agreed for the transfer fee. The only thing remaining is that Barça to sign with Ibra, and agree on the salary, while Inter to sign and agree with Samu.

Won't you guys understand that a player in the last year a contract can't the hell make his true value? Which team in this world would have paid 35 mil. for Eto'o?!
