I'll do what I can re boots - I haven't looked at the file structure/naming convention of boots in 09, but I was thinking that we could perhaps follow the brand/colour model that they have - so Boot 0 = Nike (for example) and the colours would then be the top most popular 15 for example Nike boots currently used. Boot 1 = Adidas and it follows... thoughts?

The different colours are available only for boot 0, for the other boots we have only one boot for each i. i think we should keep 0 for generic (I mean "no brand") boots and use other ids for a specific brand-model-color.

No but, of course, you cannot make a CMS compliant patch if the CMS does not exist.

Woah, from the discussion read above, I'm now aware how difficult it is to create a standard, until today. If only I know how to help all of you. Keep up the good work and we will follow the standard outline later. One question though, is the league list will includes all league in asia as well? Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia?

Rinaldo, thanks for the suggested CMS team leagues.zip. I just wanna ask, can I proposed a changes for Malaysia? Actually they are 3 leagues, Super league, Premier League and FAM Cup. I see that only 17 teams have been included on the list. In actual, there is more than that. My calculation is about 34 team, played in Super League, Premier League and FAM Cup (the third-tier football league), with some major team also play in FA Cup. This is the list that I gather from wikipedia if you're interested.

Just wondering Rinaldo if you've thought of specifying a standardised minikit template? I know this isn't exactly important and has nothing to do with database/ID issues (which is the main reason for CMS), but it would be nice to have a uniform look to the patches, especially when you are applying multiple patches.

Just a thought, sorry if this has been already mentioned or this is already part of the plan

One thing. You seem to have got data for IND-NFL 2 league from last season, as you can see there are repeated teams from the IND-I-League.

I could you help you out and send you the update teams from the IND-NFL 2.

I just wanted to know if the CMS is currently for the FIFA 09 only. Will it be carried over to FIFA 2010 too, as next year the I-League will be expanded to 14 teams, the year after that 16 teams, until the league reaches 20 teams whereas the 2nd division will still have 10 teams.

I don't want to force patch makers to use specific graphics. Maybe we could just "recommend" a preferred template.

Creation Master Standard - What is it?

I enjoyed nutunited's post so much I decided to post it again?

think the basic idea is one of standardization. The problem with the patches in the past is that if I say, made a CMP patch for a league that wasn't originally in FIFA, I'd make up the ID's for those teams myself - which might be the same as the ID's someone else used in a different patch for a different league. Then those two patches are incompatible with each other.
So the idea (As I understand it) is that you'll install the CMS standard patch using Creation Master (or will it come as part of the CM download and be installed automatically?) and it will essentially 'prepare' the database by adding ID's for all the leagues, teams, nations, stadiums etc. that are not currently in the game, these ID's will then become the standard for that league/team (etc.). So any patches created with a version of CM with the CMS installed will be compatible for anyone else also using the CMS...

This looks strangely familiar... Oh, wait - that's because I wrote it! What the hell?
