Ok, understood.
How about if we use the national team ID as well to allocate for addition player of local team.

1) It is difficult to find a rule that allows to CM 09 to allocate the player automatically like it does right now
2) The number of players ids available outside from the allocation rules for the new teams is not so big, they should be reserved for players that plays in existing teams. Only in exceptional cases, to extend the players of new teams.

For examples in One-A patch, say we have 14 teams + 1 National. Most players of national team also plays in local team. That would means, if out of 25 players of national team, 20 comes from the team of the existing patch, I can stilll use 20 of the vacated ID for local team.

You have a total of 15x25 = 375 new players id available for your patch, feel free to use them as you like. Btw. I recommend to use the national team ids first.

I think we should add an additional recommendation to players generation:
use translitteration using only the 26 occidental letters and avoid national naming like: ß æ ç ö ñ ê and so on
If you want to add realism to the patch use national characters only in the "Jersey Name" field.

Is the new Countries CMS patch which is included with CM09 Release 1.0 different from the proposed CMS Countries pdf which was posted here earlier?

I just noticed that these were not matching and countries like Greneda have a club assigned as their national team...

Yes the country set has been reviewed considering both old FIFA versions and the language files. This is the best compromise I reached at the end.

PS: the CMS_Country.cmp patch uses italian language, of course you can rename after installation. Next version will be in English.

Hi Rinaldo,

Creation Master 09 with CMS is working great for me. Only a thing I noticed. I was beginning to make a patch for a team in the India I-League, and I saw that the list hasn't been updated. There seems to be duplicate teams in the team list. I had sent the updated list in an earlier post.

Could you update the CMS in your next version, so that I can start making my patches. Also could you let me know what is the correct team id for Grenada...

I just wanted to know if the CMS is currently for the FIFA 09 only. Will it be carried over to FIFA 2010 too, as next year the I-League will be expanded to 14 teams, the year after that 16 teams, until the league reaches 20 teams whereas the 2nd division will still have 10 teams.

Ids from WC06 were not used because they are fake teams and we don't want to confuse a fake team with a real team. Same choice done for Holland.

Rinaldo, I'm continuing creating a patch for Malaysia Super League. I'm following all CM standard and follow all the rules, including fresh installation, using start CMP files and creating all teams using the CMS new features. All the league and tournament also use the wizard and CMS features.

Now the tournament ID is 484, while the league is 611. When playing in FIFA09, I don't see Malaysia and tm liga super in the tournament mode. I can play in manager mode, usual friendly play, be the pro and so on.

I try change back the id to 11, wallah it works like charm. So, is there is a way so that I can still comply using 484 and the tournament mode works too. the calender is januari 1,2009 till October 2009. I also have tested back it to December 2008 till October 2009 but can't play in tournament mode.

I also already tested to back date, Jan 1, 2008 till Sept, 31, 2008. Still not working.

In the mean time, I really hope your suggestion. thank you.

I re read your response to Generic Oval question. Okay i understand now the complication of the CMS. How to force the tournament to start as second season? Is there is any file or attributes that we can edit, if not using CM09, using DB master 09?

The ID's that I gave Rinaldo and that he put into the CMS are from FIFA 2002. They have a more logical order than these ones from WC2006. WC2006 is sort of a hybrid between the old and new system, so I think it's best to keep the old one where applicable.

Stupid question: did you check the "Appear in tournament" box ? To my knowledge that's the only thing to do. Ah! and you also must have the Country of the tournament set properly. When you go to the tournament selection can you see Malaysia ?

I can't see any problem with the Grenada National Team, what do you mean ?
Btw. making a double check I have just seen that Papua New Guinea and
Timor-Leste have the same national team id. (Well not two of the most representative countries in the FIFA ranking but they deserve a unique number anyway!) They will be changed as follows:
Papua New Guinea 1705
Timor-Leste 1707
