Creation Centre Bugs & Errors: Post'em Here!!!

Here's my problem...I downloaded CC, and of course I didn't figure out how to use it. Now I can't use FIFA. I get as far as kit selection and then the game quits on me to windows. Any ideas?

Some other details

I know Chau and Co. are working hard on the team-formation mess-ups bug, but these are a few things I noticed about this particular bug.
1) The Team Formation goes hay-wire at times.
2) Cloned players
3) In the View Squads option, the added players do not have a jersey number.
4) In the Swap Players option, you cannot swap these players as an error "Every Team must have atleast 2 GKs" appears.
5) In the Creation Centre menu, if you check their "Appearences" option , you often see:
Name of National Team
GK

For example:
Helder Postiga
Portugal
GK

Helder Postiga is a striker.

Also, the substitutions work properly with the added/created players during the pre-game Team lineup option and also in the substitutions option during a game.

Chau, I see you are from Oz. Havent u ever thought of making an Editor for some of the EA Cricket games?

Yeah,
please tell if they really work!

They appear in the team management in tthe menu, but changing smth in this case becomes impossible.
but while in the game they are changed again to the default formations.

Thanks to KeeKay for the very useful and precise description of this serious problem about formations and team management (I've also found the same things you describe)
We are all waiting Chau and Ea for the blessed solution of this bug of CC, so we can finally really play Fifa2004 (I hope very soon because I've bought the game by now nearly three months ago and soon it will be time for Fifa2005...)

I had a somewhat similar situation while also in the Free Agents section. I had finished creating a player for Atletico Madrid, the GK Juanma, then opened Free Agents just to look through it. As I was scrolling down the list, I got the above error message and the CC program closed. After that, I got the error message and program crash simply for opening the players' list.

I read in the forum of the crashes after creating players, so I uninstalled the game completely since I couldn't delete the newly-created player. I've since reinstalled the game, but have held off installing the CC. Just to make certain, the correct 2.0 version of the file is CC2004_060104.zip? I was wondering since it gives 1.0.2.11 as the version number when you open the program.

Also, is it best to download the CC into the game file, or keep it separate? Thanks for your input.

BTW...my pc is a Dell Dimension 4400 with a Pentium 4 processor, 40 GB hard drive, 256 RAM, and Windows XP os....in case you need the info.

I think there are bigger problems than the long sleeves. Let's try and get the program to first have correct players and formations, and worry about the sleeves later.

Just to add to my previous post. I'm able to transfer players from the Free Agent list to teams for a period of time, then CC will crash with the error message when I try to scroll down the list, and eventually just a few seconds after accessing the list at all. I haven't used any other editors, nor have I installed any patches to the game...not even EA's patch.

1- after i used CC the names of players have been changed to interrogation marks

why is that?

and what are the solutions for those 2 problems?

I'm also Having problems: After downloading Fifa creation centre 2004 I am after unziping file and clicking on creation centre i keep getting "creation centre has encountered a problem and will close" Am I doing something wrong? do I need to put this somewhere? I've unzipped the files to its own folder but this makes no difference, i've also downloaded it from 3 different sites but still get the same problem, your help would be much appreciated. thanx in advance

Game Crashes

I'm having trouble with the game crashing after updating teams with CC. It only happens with teams that I've updated though (USA, Blackburn Rovers). I tried other teams and the game doesn't crash, but if I try to play games with either of those teams or even open their player managment in the game, it crashes. I copied the two .db files from the CD-ROM, but that hasn't worked.

I did have the editor that came out before CC came out does that have something to do with it?

Somebody help me.

some teams don't have banners in the game, so u must check the genric banner box. to make the game use the generic banners for this team.
