haha ... this is actually my first experience watching a full footie tournament on the Latin American networks ...

for whatever reason, we get Telefutura / the Univision channel set in HD in the apartment, so I decided to watch it on TV instead of digging up streams, or watching it on youtube in this case ...

I'm tolerating the loud guy just coz we also get to hear the thoughts of Hugo Sánchez, a living legend ... like listening to him defend Leo's penalty-box dive against Costa Rica (from a striker's point of view) was hilarious -- he basically said that any contact [however minimal] by a defender on an attacker, without touching the ball, is a penalty (H) ...

Hugo might be a legend, but he's a terrible analyst.

When Mexico played, he always brought up his stupid theory about how he wanted to change the Mexican traditional uniform to red, because it stood out more. About halfway through a game I just wish he shuts the **** up.

Colombia paid the price for missing so many opportunities, also their keeper was responsible for both goals. Moreno was Colombia’s best player and with some luck, he could score.

Excellent game for Vargas, he’s one of those players who give character to his team.

Argentina vs. Uruguay should be a good match as well.

Cavani's left out and Argentina lineup is same as Costa Rica.

The Von Trapps
good for Vargas, repping calcio at the Copa ...

José Paolo Guerrero is so clutch for Peru: 3 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist, all crucial ...

the next match better be as good as it promises to be ...

"sabremos cumplir"? you better, Uruguay, you better ...

shame Cavani hasn't passed the fitness test to start ...
