It's always wrong to generalize. Rijkaard has given a good answer, so.. what else do you want? That's how it should be, coaches have to be examples, fans put the emotions.Drvar said:its not a Barca forum i visit, but a general football forum. and i dont support Chelsea, youre right tho, i dislike Barca.
and why wouldnt you want to answer for the actions of those Barca fans that spat at the bus? you accused Madrid fans of being racist, atleast the ultras minority (i agree with you on that), and would you be happy if I said "oh sure they're racist, but im not, so i dont care". you have to take the good sides and the bad of your club, not ignore anything negative regarding Barca...even if its not you spitting at Chelsea's bus.
I thought you didn't read my posts.Vinnie Jones said:You see you like distort facts too. First, it wasn´t Chelsea fans (at least from this forum who were pleased and winding up ppl when this happened). In the Hauge case it was a Manchester United gloryhunter Lee Stewart wannabe. Second, all the respectable Chelsea fans (TBB, Pede and Rob) condem this atitude. Did you condem the Barça fans who threw mobile phones and a pig´s head to Figo? I sincerily don´t think you did, i may be wrong, but i know that deep down you were extremely pleased.

This happens in all parts of the world. It's just a product of crowd mentality. When people are in a crowd and everybody is riled up they will do things they would never do otherwise. This is not a black eye for Europe.pede54 said:European football is meant to be a celebration of the game we love and not an excuse for an outpouring of hatred. I'd rather not be in Europe than have to see that kind of lunacy.
I don't have any intention of discussing about how good Mourinho is. Lately I've tried to avoid fights with Chelsea fans and I'll keep doing the same. I've tried to be careful with all my posts. I think I've been very polite. I think some Chelsea fans have done the same.Vinnie Jones said:No, you are wrong. For obvious reasons i symphatize way more with Catalans or Basques, but i don´t wanna go that way because this is a football forum not a political one. I don´t symphatize with the ones who made those dispicable acts. Don´t think that i defend Mourinho under any circunstancies, in Portugal i condemned him multiple times but i just got laugh and react when you or many others make him the source of all evil. All parties have their own share of blame. Why do you think the rivalrly btw Barcelona and Chelsea reached biblical proportions? Because of both parties, don´t use Mourinho as scapegoat. Mourinho, Rijkaard´s sarcastic remarks, your media, the english media, Ronaldinho and Eto´o declarations last year turned the clash into a "blood bath".
Anyways as always you don´t respond to half of my posts. You don´t have to anyways, you can do whatever you want, but is it true or not that Mourinho said that he was a Barcelonista and that he always rooted them in La Liga? I remember clearly when he said that last year, when the Catalan reporters were trying to start controversy. He said that his son was born in Catanulya and a part of him will be always connected to that region. Why the animosity? You dislike him because he defended the club he stands (like he did on Barcelona), call it fanatism but you Barcelona fans are pretty fanatical too. Do you also neglect what he did for the club? You want to scratch him from your clubs history, like you did with Figo too? Whether you like it or not he will be part of Barcelona´s history and glory (like Ten Cate will be, because he was obviously Robson´s "right arm"). And why didn´t you respond to the pig head incident? You accuse the other Chelsea fans but you don´t rectract yourself. You wanna know why? Because you would love it if he got hit by the pig head or the cell phone, and i know it.
Btw i didn´t said that i didn´t read your posts, i said that i didn´t give a damm (and that´s only when they are not informative, when you are just trying to wind up). Btw when Deco went to Barça i was one of the first to give you info, like you were one of the first to respond when i asked how was he performing.
I´m going to bury the hatchet, theres no point in continuing this. You don´t have to answer to anything, do as you like.

I don't think people cares about what happened with Figo anymore. Read the topic. Of course I won't answer that. It's totally offtopic. I'm not interested on personal issues.
Mourinho was Robson's assistant and his translator when needed. I can assure you Mourinho had a lot of fans here. He lost a lot of fans last year (I was one of them) and he lost a huge amount of fans this year. Some of them really hate him now because Messi is untouchable. That's what he wanted. He takes pressure off his players. Mourinho said it yesterday.
Barça have been in Europe every single year. Though in more than 50 years we didn't have a big rivalry with any other european team and Rijkaard is probably the coolest guy in the press conferences I've ever seen. The only reason of this rivalry is Mourinho. He got just what he wanted.
I honestly like this rivalry and I hope in the future there's less talk and more football.

MaSsiVe said:what a retarded offside given against Cole
the ball was crossed by Duff to the side at most, this is basic stuff ffs
I thought that when the ball isn't passed forward, there's no way a player can get it and be offside no matter what's his position on the field atm of the pass.Grunger said:If Joe Cole was ahead of the line of the ball with no man giving him condition, it's offside, being a cross or not. I'm not watching the game tho so i dont know what the situation was all about.
