It was decided by all, at the end of last season that the second title was the target this year, so job done as far as i am concerned.
It really pains the likes of Manure and Arsholes that we dominate the EPL 2 seasons on the trot, even with corrupt leadership...... but then surely thats better than no leadership at all huh Stotty?........

exactly. Crespo is good in the air, in the box. All i see when drogba is there is cech punting it in the air and drogba flicking it on to...... no one. Crespo makes runs constantly and always beats the offside trap and is good at catching the defense on their heels, because obviously he isnt fast enough to just out pace them.

Oh and vinnie, F*ck you.

Sadly, he always seems to play well for the club teams and almost never for the NT...

Then change your glasses. Porto were diving all over the place like Olympic athletes, in the Old Trafford game we had a goal wrongly disallowed etc etc so dont tell me it was a clean win.

Oh and how can you say that Barca deserved that penalty against them? Gio tackled the ball away from Terry, NOT FROM BEHIND, but from the side. And he didn't even touch Terry.

It may have been some irregularities in that game, some bad ref decisions, some diving... but i'm talking about the performance of the two teams as a neutral... Man Utd didn't deserve anything but a draw... they didn't create much and the game was pretty much balanced for both sides... none of the teams deserved better than a draw.... Man Utd didn't got that edge over Porto, to deserve a victory in that game!

Oh and....... i already recognized my error of judgement regarding that penalty against Barcelona, so....... yeah, you can stop whining now!

Must give my two cents on this one...Not only being so glad that Barça won, I am shocked by how Chelsea underperformed Tuesday. Fine, putting a 5-men midfield with 3 AM to cause congestion should work, but where the hell was the pressure marking one should expect? Why change two players at 2nd half for two which would play the same role? While all of that happened, where the hell was Lampard? and Robben? Cole for Huth?! Cole was at least creating something here and there...

And of course, Barça did a great job. Only fix that eventually leaky defence and we're set.

Oh yes, Ferreira - Carvalho getting past by through all imaginable ways at the right flank: .

I don't understand how some people even think of R. Carvalho as a "failure", or a bad signing for Chelsea...

I mean, the guy has been proving for many games now (including this last one against Barça), that he's one of the best CB's around... i mean.... his team was just playing against the most powerful attacking team in the World.... he did very well... many good defenders would love to be able to contain that attack, or block all those shots, like Carvalho did... Carvalho is one of the best Chelsea signings... he has been performing at the same level, and at times, better than Terry.......

And what's all that Bullsh*t about him standing in the way of Terry, for that second goal by Ronaldinho?!

People had been been saying Chelsea were great because they worked as a collective. Now they complain the team needs an individual who can make a difference.

Just because they have lost one game against Barcelona - the first leg at Stamford Bridge when they had 10 men - we are told they lack a playmaker.

The players have to realise they are still great. They are still in control in the Premier League and are in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

And we must remember that Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus are the best three teams in Europe.

When they play each other, the match will be decided by the smallest of details. Basically, the team that makes the first mistake will pay, and that was Chelsea in the first leg.

When I won the Champions League with Marseille (in 1993) and AC Milan (1994) we had great players, but the most important thing was that we pulled together as a team.

Take Milan. We had some of the best players in the world - Dejan Savicevic, Franco Baresi, Zvonimir Boban and Jean-Pierre Papin - yet it was difficult to single any one player out as making the difference.

We were simply a great team. This is the ethic you need to be successful and it is the ethic that Chelsea have.

Spot on? This guy makes it sound like Barcelona didn't dominate Chelsea. I agree though that there is no reason for Chelsea to panic. That is what Madrid did when they lost in the semifinals of the Champions League and they fired their coach despite winning the league. Now where are they?
