If the team feels the same way as many of its fans, he will be the RB for the rest of the year after the bolton game. As i recall, hes also a great set piece guy, so im sure that will seal his place, and hopefully, if he does well, he wont be taking off in the summer. I guess all the Johno haters out there will be vindicatedBobby said:Give us Geremi, you aren't using him.
Team news: Liverpool v Chelsea
José Mourinho has made just one personnel change from the team that started the triumph at Bolton although there is expected to be a formation switch.
Joe Cole returns in place of the cup-tied Jiri Jarosik and will go into the front three as Chelsea revert to 4-3-3. A diamond midfield was utilised at the Reebok Stadium.
Gérémi has retained his place at right-back after his solid display at Bolton but although Arjen Robben makes the bench, Damien Duff’s hamstring trouble rules him out.
Liverpool make one enforced change from the team that started at Stamford Bridge. Fit-again Dietmar Hamann replaces the suspended Xabi Alonso. Igor Biscan has recovered from the hamstring problem that kept him out of Liverpool’s game at the weekend.
Chelsea are expected play in a 4-3-3 formation as follows:
1 Petr Cech
14 Gérémi
6 Ricardo Carvalho
26 John Terry (c)
13 William Gallas
30 Tiago
4 Claude Makelele
8 Frank Lampard
22 Eidur Gudjohnsen
15 Didier Drogba
10 Joe Cole
Substitutes: 23 Carlo Cudicini, 2 Glen Johnson, 29 Robert Huth, 33 Nuno Morais, 16 Arjen Robben, 9 Mateja Kezman, 24 Mikael Forssell.
Liverpool are expected to line-up in a 4-5-1 formation as follows:
Dudek; Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Traoré; Garcia, Hamann, Biscan, Gerrard, Riise; Baros.
Subs: Carson, Warnock, Nunez, Smicer, Welsh, Kewell, Cissé.
