I believe saturday, v. Charlton will be the day. What a party it'll be. Pede, ruskwils
(ITS RUSWILKS! and for very good reasons that I wont go into here! ), either of you going?
I wish I was, but I'm working. Hopefully the open top bus parade won't be a Saturday so I will be able to go.
I even managed to miss the game on TV today despite being off work because I had a 300 mile round trip to make supporting my
other team (link). It was the last day of their season today and we were away to the team top of the table, but if we won we would have won the league (we lost 1-0
). I've supported them for as long as I have supported Chelsea, and was a regular there until my job meant I have to work Saturdays. Of course £7 admission and a 20min walk is easier to do than £40 admission and a 200 mile round trip every other weekend when you are 17!
Anyway, listening to the game on Radio 5 on the way home made the trip a little bit easier (is that an understatement or what?!).
I still can't believe the day has finally arrived when WE are champions, not United, Arsenal, Blackburn, Leeds or anyone I have seen lift the Division 1/Premiership trophy over the last decade or so.
CHAMPIONES! CHAMPIONES! OLE! OLE! OLE!
 to Cech, Johnson, Maka, Smertin, Carvalho, Kezza, Joey, Duffer, Billy, Geremi, Drogba, Robben, Bridgey, Parker, Paulo, Eidur, Carlo, Forssell, Jiri, HUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (!!!), Tiago (OOOOOHHHHHHH, he comes from Portugal, He hates the Arsenal!)
And not forgetting
 Super Frank
 JT, best player in England
and
 Jose
EDIT: Whilst I'm here, I'd just like to mention Matthew Harding, the former Chelsea vice-chairman who was killed in a helicopter crash after a League Cup game at Bolton in 1996. The club meant everything to him, he was more of a fan than most people who sing their hearts out from the stand bearing his name every other saturday, despite his position. I wish he was still here to see this day, here's hoping he's watching from above, and is enjoying what he's seeing.
RIP Matthew, you will always be near to Chelsea fans' hearts..
