Lampard scores more then him, creates more then him, defends more then him, and plays at a such a high level more often that he is not just the worlds best box-to-box midfielder, but he is just the worlds best player at the moment.

Mate....even i could run rings around the Real Madrid defence at the moment.Of course he is good,but against a better defence he is not allowed to play like that.Your defenders just stood off him,and gave him all the room and time that he needed.And when he went on a run,the defenders feet were nailed to the floor.Reals defence is very slow and yesterday they looked asleep.
He would have a harder time up against Wigans defence man.

If that penalty was given it could have changed the whole course of the game. With all the players out injured i think we more than matched you in the first half. I suppose that extra quality or lack of quality in our case (Bramble) and a good half time team talk proved to be the difference between the two sides.

As we go in to tomorrows clash, the side is obviously in must win situation against Anderlecht because our advance to the next round is no sure thing, and if we don't win, then the annoying media circus on our backs will start up again so expect Jose to have the guys up for the occassion big time.

What's all this talk of having Chelsea excluded from the G14.

Further proof that Mourinho is a genius-look at his answer to that above question which is asked to every manager at some time and then look at how he's the only one who said something that was smart, made sense, etc. What a great media personality he is.

Apparrently those comments, or whatever he said, have been quoted by Kompany as a reason why he really admires Jose. Personally, I dont see where Kompany fits unless we dump both Huthie and Riccy, and Im not willing to do that.


And Treble, forget the G14: we dont really need to be part of that little old boys club because their main intent is to guard the intrest of big clubs and help generate more money for them. Obviously cash is something we dont really have a problem with. On top of that both Barca and the Arse are standing in our way of entry while clubs like Milan and I think Porto and PSV are attempting to lobby on our behalf.
