The most dangerous thing is a team in the spoiler role that has nothing to lose like Arsenal will in this season't legue.

And Wanker is obviously a pretty decent manager, and he'd make a terrific scout I have to say. Arse aren't gonna be relegated any time soon so don't even talk about that.

Any news on Robben's supposed bust up or whatever the media is calling it, or can we safely declare that it's just media BS?

Our Chelsea players performed well in the Germany-France game in case some of you couldn't catch it. Huth especially stuck out and he didn't make any bad mistakes, in fact he made a few good defensive plays. I notice that he looked taller and skinnier in the German jersey's than in the Chelsea jersey's (I'm not confusing him with Mertesacker). Makelele though I didn't play that terrific but the Germans tried using the flanks. Gallas was pretty decent except for the dirty challenge he put in on Ballack.


By the way, happy birthday to whoever's it was a couple day's ago, I forgot who it was though.

Crespo will stay at Chelsea

Hernan Crespo vowed to stay at Chelsea to fight for his first-team place and insisted he was not seeking showdown talks with boss Jose Mourinho.

Crespo's future at Stamford Bridge was thrown into some doubt after he did not feature in the squad for their past two games against Real Betis and Manchester United.

However, the experienced striker, who scored Argentina's opening goal in their 3-2 defeat by England in Geneva, declared: "I will stay. When I came back three months ago, I signed a new contract for one more year. So why do I need to change something after three months?"

He added: "I have shown that when I have an opportunity to do something in Chelsea, I'm ready to play. But the season is long. If I don't have a lot of minutes now, I don't have a problem.

"Normally I need to play more and more, but I don't have problems with anybody."

The next test will come ahead of next weekend's Premiership game against Newcastle, although Crespo insisted: "I don't need to speak (to Mourinho) about anything.

"Maybe it's because we lost two matches that people need to write something bad. But I don't have a problem with anybody."

Against the Magpies, Crespo could again face Michael Owen, who struck England's two late goals in Geneva.

"Maybe he will celebrate now but, for the Newcastle game, he will be tired!" the South American said, more in hope than expectation.

"When you play a great player like this, you know he may not touch the ball for 80 minutes. But in the last 10 minutes, he can score twice and beat you.

"He's a great player and he has a history against Argentina after the 1998 World Cup."

Jose says he will sell him in the winter transfer window,to a team of Jose's choice and it will nor be certain that it will be an Italian club.By refusing to travel to Betis,Crespo is finished at Chelsea.Jose told Crespo that he WILL travel but Crespo refused.The players also think Crespo shoulders some of the blame for the Betis defeat,because of his attitude and refusal to travel.That was the night Jose told him he was finished at Chelsea,and nothing has changed Jose's mind since.The relationship between the rest of the players and Crespo is very strained.Crespo is just time wasting anyway until he goes somewhere else.Spartak Moscow are interested in him,maybe Jose will send him there on loan until his time is up.He let the players down,he let Chelsea down and he let the fans down.So he can go to hell as far as i am concerned.

he didnt say he would resign he said he would expect to be sacked, he only said it cause he thought Chelsea would beat Utd and that would have been Fergies 3rd defeat in a row.

Cos' we only got two healthy strikers. Three in reality but one of them plays midfielder role for a while and thinks that defensive midfielders only need to tackle . . .

Crespo's not young so this was always gonna be his last year. Also, Veron expects to go back to Argentina when his contract expires, I expect him to be released at the end of this year.
