I would like him too be we just had a £26.6m bid rejected and I dont think he is worth more than that......

Sounds like Newcastle are gonna sign Debuchy for 7m. That's ridiculous, I'd rather sign him for 7m than Maicon, and even though he'd expect more playing time, he'd command lower wages too.
Apparently the asking price for cesar azpilicueta is only about 7m too....... that's just pocket change to Roman...... honestly, for that money it's worth it just as cover......

Really looks like Oscar is ours. But then we said that about Hulk.

Oh and tits.
Oscar they say is a Cesc like talent. They as in some people who have seen him. I have just seen some youtube clips of match compilations and his passing seems crisp. I hope he is not that good if I am honest or good at all. But if he is Mata-Oscar-Hazard could be really fantastic to watch. So yeah congrats I guess.

I hate Chelsea.

No, Cesc is an all-terrain. He can start the attack and finish it, creative midfielder and finishing midfielder, he's not a #4, #8, #10 or #9, he is everything.

I didn't mean Cesc like as in exactly like him as a player but he has that high potential-but that is what "they" said and they could be talking absolute bull****. Well I hope so.

Yeah, Cesc is awesome. Very direct player, but so good he can play in any style. Those types of players are born, they aren't made IMO. Similar to Gerrard, but he has a footballing brain too, not a stupid chav brain.

Oh and tits.
Yeah, Sneijder is no Cesc. Cesc can sacrifice influence if he needed to for the team and also Sneijder is mr.accuracy rather than creative genius while Cesc is both. I do think Cesc has lost a little bit of that patience he had and become more aggressive nowadays for whatever reason. Its not bad though but I really liked the patient, calm and calculated Cesc even more.

Probably but I liked watching Cesc so much more before he moved to that free role. I think Arnau does have a point about English football changing that in him and I suspect that too. Its not that I don't like the offensive midfield Cesc but he was so fabulous to watch when he controlled everything and we were fabulous to watch as well. I am of the opinion Cesc would do much better and Barca would get more out of him if he could return to that than what he does now even if he might not contribute directly in numbers as much as in- assists/goals.

That's Xavi and Iniesta's role in Barcelona. Cesc has always been direct, but he had many problems of game understanding at Barça, specially when played in 1 of 2 midfield spots of 4-3-3.

He was #4 at Barça youth teams (TBH played everywhere) but i meant he looked lost in Xavi and Iniesta's position not Busi's.

he has always been more direct than Xavi and Iniesta but he wasn't this direct. This increased directness is the reason he has struggled most likely in a midfield role because he is more likely making more rushed passes at times and is not in the right positions in comparison to other players. He is obviously much more aggressive and direct than he was earlier which probably results in more goals and assists so it is really difficult to criticize. Its not that I think it is wrong or **** but I just think he was much better when he was more calmer and patient. But that is just my personal opinion.

For a second here, I almost thought I posted this in the wrong thread.

Watched the highlights of the Saunders game, was quite pleased to be able to see the new boys in action. Glimpses of brilliance from Hazard, and Marin did great in LW. Lukaku played at CF has shades of Drogba, especially with the first goal when he just out-muscled the Seattle defender to the ground. His second goal was a great show of pace and power.

Still a bit dodgy at the back and McEachran who had a good game made an error that lead conceding. All in all, a decent start.

Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Marin ALL looked fantastic..... surely some if not all are set for stardom......

Also Moses interest has been confirmed......
