Apparently the asking price for cesar azpilicueta is only about 7m too....... that's just pocket change to Roman...... honestly, for that money it's worth it just as cover......Mandieta6;3271208 said:Sounds like Newcastle are gonna sign Debuchy for 7m. That's ridiculous, I'd rather sign him for 7m than Maicon, and even though he'd expect more playing time, he'd command lower wages too.

Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Marin ALL looked fantastic..... surely some if not all are set for stardom......Zakov;3273673 said:For a second here, I almost thought I posted this in the wrong thread.
Watched the highlights of the Saunders game, was quite pleased to be able to see the new boys in action. Glimpses of brilliance from Hazard, and Marin did great in LW. Lukaku played at CF has shades of Drogba, especially with the first goal when he just out-muscled the Seattle defender to the ground. His second goal was a great show of pace and power.
Still a bit dodgy at the back and McEachran who had a good game made an error that lead conceding. All in all, a decent start.
