Also....Frank's back in training and could play on Wednesday against 'pool. Seems a bit too soon somehow, but I guess only Frank knows how he feels.

I hear that Chelsea wanna swap Malouda for Ribery in the summer. Surely Bayern wouldn't agree to such a one sided deal would they? Damn, I hope it happens though.

Malouda is not half the player Ribery is. :tongue:. You have to package him, Lamps and Ballack to get him. :D

Branislav Ivanovic has been playing in the reserves this season. His fitness wasn't up to much when he arrived, so they have let him bed in in the reserves, where he has been doing relly well it seems.

Hey, I mentioned the Ribery/Malouda thing because it was a fine example of the English media's ridiculous rumour mill. Of course Ribery is miles better than Malouda, and Bayern would not even consider such a silly swap. Shame though because we just do not need Malouda. He's a piece of crap that Jose saddled us with, to go with the rest of the dross he bought.:)

u can't say that..although in the reality it looks like that.
malouda is player of the year(2006/07) in france..better than ribery..

imo, he doesnt fit with the team well

i'll give him another season.
if we ballack have proved to us, why malouda can't?
another more season than we'll rate him

just like ronaldo, ronaldinho etc. not all players can become an instant hit u know.

Yeah, I do believe in giving players time to settle, but Malouda has shown us nothing at all this season. If I could at least see a little teaser of what he can do then fine, but he has been very very crap.

When a "player of the year" is chosen, it is because of other peoples opinions. That does not always make it the right choice though.

i can't to not agree with u for this. sometimes i do prefer kalou(although he alwasy lose possession too much) or swp & j cole partnership.

anyway, back for tommorow games.there are reports that frank had gone some training sessions with full of concentration.some even suggested that he didnt seems to be distracted wit what happen with his mom recently.

what i've to say is this lad is really really really a very true professional who's very committed with his job. i just hope that he can contribute something tomorrow & give us a much needed win and show to Pools that the past 2 semifinals for them were just pure luck.

2-1 for blues, with torres might sneak through somewhere.

Durrrr, looks like Lamps is included in our squad as he had been training as you said, pete.........good news for us, but I wonder how Lampsy will be playing after such an emotional week, poor bloke, hats off to his professionalism....hopefully, he'll take it positively and play at his best for the sake of himself and his family as well, life goes on as they say.....
hopefully, Lamps will sneak in a goal somewhere and we could see a goal celebration dedicated to his mother or some sort............

EDIT: just been watching the Barca vs Man Utd game, looks like the Mancs have the upper hand in this one, Barca seem clueless as soon as they reach the Man Utd box, and they don't seem to know how to clear their lines properly.......I hope they sneak in a goal somewhere, seeing them like this, I'd rather be facing them than Utd.........

We know we can handle United, but even though Barca are a shadow of the team that we played two seasons running, on a bloody good day they could rip anyone apart. So this has turned out great for us IF and WHEN we make it to the final.

but don't be too over confident dude.
i'm just hoping we don't play like vs fenerbahce at home.
we shud go out & play attacking football as usual. and the defenders MUST always focus through out the 90mins or 120 mins. i've seen in many matches that our defenders do silly mistakes.. (vs Everton @ home..& vs Valencia @ away).

& incase if there's penalty spot situation, i prefer ballack.seriously.
lamps will ofcourse might not be in the right mindframe to take from the spot. ballack had shown how cool he was (vs united.)

cmon chelsea. 14 hours to go guys..
