well, typical Didi!! But that aside, we got a gift from Riise!! The refereeing was a bit dodgy at times but still it was a great game of football, shame JT got that yellow card, it would be devastating if he got another one at the Bridge and missed the final(assuming IF we get our job done)................

Are you by any chance related to Arnau?

lol, he could be......but fair to them, we probably deserved a goal, I thought Lamps, Malouda and Cole were all decent chances, but who would've thought Riise with his flashy hairstyle would do us a favour....but Liverpool got enough chances to score the second goal, luckily for us our keeper is Petr Cech.

Very competetive game, and for once the good fortune went our way. Hey at least the ball from Risse's header actually DID cross the line, so no complaints over that one.

A very even game with both teams having their turn at dominating. Two goals from defensive howlers was the only way this was not gonna end up 0-0. For all the decent goal attempts from both sides, both defenses played well enough to keep everything else out.

Ashley Cole is actually getting worse with every game. I want Bridge in his place. Didi's histrionics seem to be making a comeback. I don't like it at all, its a little embarrassing, but considering that Didi or Frank haven't trained for over a week now, they did pretty well.

The Bison will be back for the second leg so that gives us an edge at the Bridge. We do miss him when he's not there.

So, an away goal to us huh? Luverly stuff. Puts us in pole position for the return leg at the Bridge, where Rafa's 'pool have never, ever scored a goal. This aint the league I know, but its a nice thought to be going on with.

You could hear a pin drop in the Kop, after that goal went in during added time last night. I laughed my socks off at those red faces as they struggled to accept what happened. Now they know how it feels, and I hope it hurts.

C'MON YOU BLUES

Just read about Lampard's mother :( He might miss the Bridge showdown, but I gotta tell you what a brave, brave man Lampard is (Y) ....

Despite I despise Avramt for being a Palpatin-like annoying prick, I put my hats off for Terry, Cech and Lamps, those SOBs have proven their guts time and time again by cracking their skull on the pitch and still gets up one more time for good measure and by standing up despite personal ordeals.

All the best for Lampard's mom.

Help?

Fan Favourite
Yeah, as a United fan, the prospect of Lampard missing out the Saturday showdown would be absolutely great, but if it happens the last thing i'd want it to be is because of a death of his mother. Who knows what's going on in his head right now man, but he has to hang in tough there.

Thats nice of you boys right there. Thanks for that.

Yeah it's gonna hit Frank pretty hard, so I doubt that we will see him at the game this weekend.

Best of luck to Frank and Frank senior, and R.I.P Pat.

She passes away :( I just read it...

OMG, this is so crap, I hope there is a one minute of silence at the Bridge... Even if we win the League at the Bridge, I don't want the players to celebrate, for God's sake no...

Hell, I don't even wanna have that match now... the decent thing the FA can do is at least postpone it, I'm sure everybody is still pretty much shaken now....

It will certainly affect our boys big time. The FA won't intervene though, they will expect the game to go ahead as planned, as it should I suppose.

With all that is at stake in that game, even I could care less right now.

OMG, I really hoped that she would come through eventually, I understand what Frank's going through myself, and I don't know how it will affect him but I wouldn't care if he chooses to miss the Man Utd or the Liverpool match, he needs time to get through all this....
My condolences to the Lampard family.

P.S - For anyone who wishes to leave their condolences, there's a book setup at the Chelsea website.

Yellow Card
Condolences to the family.

Game will go ahead, although it seems insignificant now. Ballack to step up, and team as a whole will pull together.
