I went to my doctors today because I've been having problems sleeping of late so he prescribed me the Chelsea Football Club 2008 DVD.

wow, amazingly funny. at least they have a plan b and will admit when they don't get the win. arsenal will bitch and moan about anything under the sun, refs, penos...etc

Chelsea aren't out of it yet, at times they're not pretty, but man utd aren't always pretty, sometimes you have to battle for the 3 points, which arsenal don't have the bottle to do (8pts from 8 games)

well mates, sometimes things like this happen and when you're only 1-0 ahead like we were against Boro and Sunderland, what happened was on the cards....
as soon as I saw the team line-up and Frank's name wasn't there, I knew we were going to struggle for goals, I don't think its Grant fault as from what I heard he intended to start Frank but Frank had personal problems......

Again, people will say why not start Joey Cole? But I think due to the fixtures being against us, with the Everton game about than 72 hours away, I thought what Grant did was acceptable but it just didn't work out today, Wigan came for a point and they hung on and got that one chance when we were asleep thinking we already got the job done.

I thought Kalou should've been brought off, he was poor at times, with his indecisiveness, Malouda I thought looked zippy but lacked confidence.....
........we started playing fluently only when Cole came in.
next game is against Everton, and while Utd fans think they may have won the title, we'll still only be 2 points behind even with them having a game in hand, and what happened to us could still happen to them.

We are Chelsea, we'll never giveup.
Come on Chels!!

Tracer, a better bet for you might be "Arsenal....The Comedy". Trouble is that it lasts for 3 years .Still you might witness some short bursts of trophy-less pretty pretty footie in there somewhere, but unfortunately for you mate....it does not have a happy ending.:)

I just knew you would be here today man. Good to see ya.:D

Well I'm gonna concentrate on the positives from last night.............................................................................................................................................................................Joe Cole is the dogs bollocks. Thats it.

Can't believe Chelski threw it away last night, and to let Heskey of all people score the equaliser really takes the píss.

Well miffed, and no doubt every other neutral and ABU is too. :(

P.S. Steve Bruce has still got a big fat head.

Hahahahahaaaa.....yeah he does at that Joey.

Fair play to Emile though. He's not had the most comfortable of careers respect wise, although he has always given his best, and he is a very nice bloke indeed.

Got nothing to add about the game. It was nowhere near good enough from us. Some of our players should be ashamed today, because they were sh!t.

Sell Malouda for fu<ks sake. That way he can never take the field for us again. He is big pants. Big big pants.

Just shows how important Lamps is to us.

pede, relax mate, i agree that Malouda has been disappointing but it was the same with Sheva......maybe he is not good enough to play for our side(what i mean is he can't fit in on how we play)..........
I agree man, Joe Cole is the bollocks, came on and tore the Wigan defence apart, why was he overlooked for player of the year, I wouldn't know, but he is our player of the year!!
We just need someone who's similiar to him, in the past we had Duff, we need someone similiar or we could just get Duff again!!
Kalou has also frustrated me at times and Ballack can't replace Lamps, they played well with each other recently, but the idea is that Ballack needs Lamps, and Lamps doesn't need Ballack beside him to perform!!
Anelka also needs to be played beside Drogba, drop Kalou and put Joey, Lamps, Essien, and Drogba with him.............drop Ashley, put in Bridge.........
Ashley hasn't contributed much to us this season attacking-wise....

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
one win coupled with a ManU loss and you're back in business. Think positive, don't give up........I'd really like a close finish.

He's a waste of money, come to think of it Ballack is too IMO. Sell them both off!

I'm relaxed Zakov, I'm very relaxed mate. I still do not write us off as yet. I still believe that Man U might still fu<k this all up, but the fact remains that we played pretty badly in what was a "must win" game.

This close to the end of the season, I would play my best and first 11 players every time. SWP should have been out there last night with Joe. When Kalou began to fade( which was quite early on), I would have subbed him for SWP.

We missed Lamps and Ricardo big time, and A.Cole was dissapointing again. Bridge should be first choice RB. It was amazing to see Petr Cech back so soon though, so that was nice.

OK so here's to the run in. Lets see how things go. It's still gonna be fun.:clapwap:

I'm pretty sure it was Bridgey that played in the Wigan game..............but I thought he wasn't given the ball enough and didn't go up wide enough......
edit: nvmind, you probably meant Ashley was a disappointment since the start of the season, i'm a bit slow today.......

Ballack stills useful for us, early goals against Olympiakos, Fenerbahce, winner against Fulham, the thing is, he can't lift the team if we're playing badly compared Lamps and Joey Cole...........

Let's hope so!

Hopefully Chelski will despatch of Everton on Thursday, and then fingers crossed Blackburn do everyone a favour and beat Man Yoo (an ex-Man Yoo player doing one over Fergie, unlike Steve Fat Head Bruce yesterday :(). Suddenly it's all in Chelski's hands again, beat Man Yoo and win the others and they will take the title.

Though it's not as simple as that when some players just don't deliver.

You hit the nail on the head there Joey. I still remain insanely optomistic though.

Zakov.....I meant Malouda and not A.Cole. I dunno why I wrote that. Wierd.

yes!! great result for us, even if we have played a game more the two point gap will keep Man Utd on their toes.....
Essien with the winner, was a bit worried when he suddenly collapsed in the middle of the field but he turned out alright......

Come on Chels!!

edit : weird press conference by Avram, not his usual self I must say..........

Yup, good 3 points indeed, against a very determined Everton defence, who's record this season indicates just how solid they have been at the back. Of course every time we got the ball, Everton parked the bus, but that was to be expected. I hope Essien is gonna be OK.

Actually Zakov, I thought the press conference was inspired on Avram's part. He gave those scum sucking journo's NOTHING last night, and left them looking like the two faced wankers that they are. I particuarly liked the bit when one hack asked how Essien was, only to be told by Avram," Ask his doctor ". Hahaha....pure gold.

We do not have to comply or co-operate with the same media that daily slags us off. Avram feels that, and in last nights post match interview, Avram really gave them the finger. I loved that.

Of couse the press have turned it all around and are implying that Avram has lost the plot, but they know as well as we do, that it is in fact, the complete opposite. I thought he was fantastically frustrating towards those reporters, and my estimate of him has risen higher because of it.

Oh, and as JT said last night, " We are still in with a shout". I wanna see Blackburn do United, and then we will of course beat them at the Bridge. That gives us the title. Luverly. :)

AND, it looks as if Ben Haim will be kicked out for sure now, after his rant to the media about his sad life at Chelsea. If he wasn't on his way out this summer, he sure will be now. Is this the bigmouth "Dressing room media mole" that Chelsea have been trying to find all this season. The one player who has been feeding tit bits to the scum, and has yet to be found out?

Or that could be Pat Nevin, the ex Chelsea favourite who has also opened his big gob to add to the slagging off of Chelsea. This guy is still employed at Chelsea and it seems that good ol' Pat, has many friends in the murky world of football journalism. I hope that the club give him a swift kick in the arse right out of the front door. No club needs ungrateful, big mouth tossers like them.

yeah mate, lets hope Sparky do us favour instead of Utd, we saw how Bruce was, getting calls from the Utd camp and such, but Sparky has a bit of blue blood as well and he will want to beat Utd and his Blackburn are more than capable of troubling the Mancs.................

actually, I was just suprised more than anything, well the press deserved any slagging off their gonna get from us but im suprised its come from Avram all of a sudden, since he's usually media friendly...........well, can't be bothered, I'm more interested in what the team does on the pitch than in tv interviews........

I think Avram was feeling a bit of afters last night because of the club's refusal to talk to Sky. I think he kept the answers to yes/no, so Sky also had nothing to report.

Man I really enjoyed watching the faces of those scummy journo's last night, as Avram took the piss out of them.

I actually heard about that, and if true, I thought they were going to snub the press conference to begin with....maybe Avram got confused and gave short answers(albeit in a very polite humanly manner)........
can't believe people are so worked up by this, if it was Jose, surely the media and public would be wetting their pants!!:amika:

pede54

It's because he is harder and less predictable to deal with than Jose. The media are too thick to get under his skin. He has very little time for the press, and the press are not used to being treated like that. It's a shame that more people don't do it more often.

Q: Do you have a message for the Chelsea fans, who think you are back in the title race?

A: No message.

Q: But you are back in it now?

A: I don't know.

Q: Is it because of Sky TV (who had switched the game to Thursday)

A: Maybe it is because of you, I don't know.

Q: Would you rather say nothing?

A: It's a good question, I don't know what to answer. It's not Sky, I enjoy watching them.

A: No, I don't know
