Chelsea have responded to the pressure put upon them by the Fans Forum, by reducing ticket prices even further for CL games.

After the Forum let Kenyon know in no uncertain terms, that the boycott of CL games at Stamford Bridge would continue until our demands were met, tthey have reduced ticket prices from £36 to £25.

The alternative, as was pointed out to Kenyon was that the stadium would continue to be half empty until our demands were met.

Just shows what fan solidarity can do to make it more affordable for us "normal" fans to watch our team play.

I find it incredible that although most people know the real reason for our missing fans at CL games, they not only ignore the truth but collectively fire cheap shots at us and accuse us of not being "real" fans.

The fans forum deserve a lot of respect and praise. Not only for organising the boycott, which has been in place for 2 seasons, but for standing up to the bigwigs at Chelsea, and showing them that we indeed do have principles that we will stick to.

This will all be lost to the hacks at the Sun and other crappy media outlets of course. Positive moves at Chelsea after all is not what they want to write about. The same applies to the morons who actually take note of what the Sun and what their sister papers tell them.

We have skin as thick as a Rhino's. Insults and put downs have no effect whatsoever on us, but thats the price to be paid when you share a football league with idiot fans from other clubs. We cannot be broken. We have solidarity and we are loyal. Loyal to Chelsea FC and to each other.

EDIT.....This is typical of the moronic attitude I mentioned earlier. This is a quote from "In The News UK", a sister company to the Sun and Sky Sports News.

"News that Chelsea are cutting prices further will add to the perception of a club in crisis."

No mention of the fans forum. No mention of the boycott. No mention of Chelsea actually listening to the fans.

Scumbag second rate hacks indeed.

It seems Dyke Dean reported Chelsea to the FA on that incident where he sent Mikel off and was surrounded by Chelsea players, its not only the players but Steve Clark is also in a bit of trouble apparently he used abusive language against the officials.

Bad enough the asshole cost us the game now he reports the club for protesting the red card, this only proves he is anti Chelsea.

It certainly proves that he's a <unt anyway.

I should think the FA will back him too as they are just as useless as he is. Wouldn't it be refreshing if for once the FA would just give an honest assessment of their wanky officials.

So far this season, almost every coach for every team has critisized the inept refereeing in the EPL, but the FA have no interest in making things better.

As for Clarkey, he was probably being honest and called Dean a cheating scouse wanker. Which he is.

Even if found guilty we can afford the fine anyway so its not a big deal.

I wouldn't joy much from the fact the he is being allowed to coach. he is worthless anyways. Clark is a much better fill in till uncle Roman goes out and overpays the next Mourinho.

Well, Grant will have a season to prove himself whatever. Thats cool with me though. Whats one season out of a lifetime of seasons.

If you believe the scum media we have about 20 coaches waiting in the wings to come in. I don't prefer one coach over another to be honest. I dont have any favourites at all. So if Grant does not succeed which is NOT a certainty whatever people might like to think, I'll just see how it goes.

Help?

Simple, referees don't have nearly as much money as the clubs do to pay for fines.

ooh Help? you old cynic......heheheheheheheee :)

Thats what its all about without a doubt mate. The FA see this as a certain money spinner, and they have first and final say on who pays and how much. Very democratic I must say.

It's right that Chelsea are punished for the way they acted after Mikel got a red card. Mikel blatantly put his hands on the referee, aswell as a few other players. Regardless of whether it was deserved or not, the Chelsea players were wrong to act in the way they did.

Oh Fu<kin' boo hoo mate.

Who gives a crap what a Manc's opinion might be in this instance.

As it happens I dont think any of us really cares whether they did or did not crowd out Dean. So if the FA want the money, we'll get fined. Big fu<kin' deal. It's only money and we have loads of it :)

I love how they say 'Chelsea in crisis' when we have enough money to pay a coach a huge compensation package just so that he won't manage in the same league for the rest of just one season.

We're not in crisis, Man U are worse off than us, maybe not this season. And the media have a sad sad problem. They overdo everything, a few weeks ago, it was Man U in crisis just for not winning right away, and now it's us. And it's not just with this but everthing. A prolific player will score 3 or 4 goals in 3 games and all of a sudden he's back to being world class despite playing **** for 90 minutes except for the goals. Or a goalkeeper will make one single mistake and two weeks later commentator's will still be talking about his poor recent form. This problem is mostly in England. I don't notice it in other sports like hockey or rugby where they actually wait and see a situation panning out before they say that a team or player is in crisis.

Great article there pede, it just shows that the tabloids are just a bunch of lying f**kers......Terry was with us pre-Abramovich era, had loads of offers to move to other Premiership clubs, but he chose to stay with us even when we were in worst conditions, much worser than this btw.....
I can't understand why the English press tries so hard to unsettle their own captain......Oh well, I don't think Terry would be bothered anyway...
Keep on rolling Blues...

btw, Mike Dean is a wanker. I just checked Wikipedia and he's got 21 red cards out of 50 games, and 5 red in the last seven games....
Clearly shows that he seeks attention more than anything.....
the FA should should shove the red cards into his arse-hole and fire him b4 he gets any worse....

btw pede: its not about "Chelsea have responded to the pressure put upon them by the Fans Forum".

actually i already read about this plan even before the season start(at the blues official website) where they already said that they want to reduce the ticket esp for the cl matches ;)

Man the Fans Forum, of which I am a member, has been putting pressure on the Chelsea board since 2005/2006 season, over ticket prices apart from other issues. The minutes of all our meetings are a matter for Chelsea and the Forum.

We appreciate that Kenyon does not like to credit the fans forum with anything at all, but you will have to take my word for it that if it wasn't for the fans boycott of CL games over the last 2 seasons, and the promise that the boycott would continue, Kenyon would have done NOTHING to lower the prices.

After the Rosenborg game, Roman demanded that a meeting be set up with the forum to thrash this issue out. The meeting was called and was attended by Kenyon and Bruce Buck. The outcome was a further lowering of ticket prices for CL games.

That is fact my friend. Just because the bigwigs at Chelsea decide to present the outcome from a different angle is neither here nor there.

Fulham at home today fella's. Lets make this 67 games unbeaten at the Bridge.

Drogba is reported to be playing today so thats a much needed boost for us.

Fulham have not won at the Bridge in the League since 1964 so hopefully they will continue the trend.

We are still missing Lamps and Ricci.

Fulham will be without defender Moritz Volz and Ian Pearce .
Lee Cook, Jimmy Bullard, Philippe Christenval and Brian McBride are also out for Fulham.

C'mon you Blues:hump:

Fulham will be a tough opposition, lets hope we'll come away with a comfortable win and not lose any players to injuries, since we've got a massive clash against Valencia coming up!!!

GO BLUES!!!

John Terry has a suspected fractured cheekbone, which isn't good news with Valencia coming up for Chelsea. Football365 says the fans were boo'ing Shevchenko. And BBC says they were again chanting Jose Mourinho's name at the end. Didier Drogba will now be suspended as a result of the red card he received aswell. Another unlucky day for Chelsea, and I just don't know whether Grant will be able to mastermind any sort of tactical victory over Valencia.
