Munoz almost had a ridiculously good Champions League record then!? Still to win with Chelmsford so many years on a row, then win the first year away from them is pretty handy!

Yes, but he only collected 7 winners medals with Chelmsford because of appearances.

I like it that Nemernicu retired in top form, kinda like Zidane. How old was he?

Aerts is the FB right? I don't mind him leaving since he didn't fit the tactic and was too good to let waste away.

Why is Vanderlei unhappy? Wants new challenge?

ps This is real life Wanderlei, mma legend:

See, told you that you guys didn't play him much :P

In the champions league, is it based on who plays the final (as I think it is with other cups) or % of games like the league.

Sometimes I masturbate over Munoz

I'm fairly sure I didn't, and even so it's irreverent to my point - loads of guys have high PAs but don't win loads of champions leagues consecutively with one club, before winning in their first season with a new club.

"Wanting new challenges" I thought was lame when he went to another EPL side. But winning the champions league with them I guess is a new challenge

Nemernicu was 37. Morgan left on a free. Signed by City. I think JCV has a bit of a challenge on his hands this year.

Yeah, but he wasn't prominent in a lot of those CL winning sides. Nemernicu or Juric for example had more to do with winning them. It's like giving Bojan huge credit for winning a few with Barca.

Yeah, not saying he was prominent. Just saying it'd be a nice thing to be able to brag about in your career.

People talk about those sorts of things in real sport all of the time. In Australian cricket they used to speak about how Adam Gilchrist had only ever won Test Matches, as his great game was the second game in a world record 15 match winning streak for Australia.

That's the point I was making. Stop being so defensive.

Morgan and Munoz on frees. Really good business from JCV.

That's 70mill plus walking out the door

Toughest season in a long time.

Chelmsford draw Barca in the CL Semis. Long eliminated from the domestic cups.

I should also mention that he sold Metcalf to Chelsea for 40m on January 1

Would be first time in ages we weren't the league's leading scorers too?

Not being defensive, just arguing some points.

Looks like not long before City overtake Chelmsford.

Haha, I just noticed how our team's first 4 letters are the same as Chelsea, what a coincidence.

JCV's decimation of the squad is now fully apparent as Chelmsford are at risk of finishing trophyless for the first time in decades.

All they need is a win. They've been here before and lucked out despite a draw. Can they do it again?

With Pablo Castro in the owner's box, Chelmsford trotted out their team that had to win in order to retain the Premier League. The elderly Cuban peered down at the team as they took the pitch and thought "what the fuck is this!?"

But Pablo should have known his former players better than that. After all, most of these guys were handpicked for their winning mentality as much as for their skill, often as kids.

Bulent FILIZ!!!!

(as a practical matter, I have no idea how this quote happened, because I definitely did not give a press conference)

How did you get Pablo as a director without the game playing up? It allowed you to job swap him into a board role without crashing?

ShiftyPowers

Oh, no I just edited one of the board members to "Pablo Castro" and changed his birthday and nationality. The real Pablo is unattached to a club and holidaying through. Gets job offers from time to time. And you'll never believe this!

This is where I hate the FM engine. In real life, as much as loyalty isn't what it was, there is much much more loyalty in those sorts of situations. It really didn't reflect the world very well
